i like the college life it make us responsible adult and gives us lot of freedom

Dislikes

i dislike that our hostel are way too old and our placement percentage is way less when compared to other IIT's

Internships Opportunities :

interships at iit roorkee are often offered by a diverse range of companies spanning various industries. the roles offered covers a wide spectrum includes software development, research, engineering, finance , marketing and more. the stipend anount can vary based on factors such as the company , the role and the duration of internship

Placement Experience :

the plaments are good. like around 70-80 percentage students get placed everey year.the highest placement offer would be around 1 cr. from 7th semeter a student can participate in the placemnet season, every campany may have different CG criteria. after my degree i want to do job for 2 years and then i want to study abroad.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

tthe complete cost of education at iit roorkee includes tuition fees, hostel fees and other miscellaneous charges. for the current academic year the tuition fee for btech peograms ia around 2 lakh per annum while the hostel fees are approximately 100000 per annum .additionally fees which collectively amount to around 20000 per annum. IIT roorkee offers a range of the schlarships and financial aid to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The institute provides merit based schlorships.

Campus Life :

as an student here i would say the campus life here is truly vibrant and enrichind , offering a perfect blend of acdemic excellence and extracurricular opportunities. the social aspects and club involvement play a pivotal role in shaping the overall student experience.

Hostel Facilities :

hostels are old and unfurnished and in bad condition .but it provides a good gym facilites, a tv room, study room. we have access to a bed , study table with a chair and a cupboard. hostel mess facilities often provide regular meals for students. the quality of meals can vary, but provide nutritious menu

Hostel Fee : INR 25000 per year

Admission :

The admission process at iit roorkee, like many institutions typically involves a rigorous selection procedure. Students are required to fill out a detailed appilication form, providing informatio about their academic background achivements and extracurricular activites. The entrance exam play a crucila role in the iit admission process. the joint entrance examination(JEE) is often the primary criterion for undergradute admissions. the cut off marks for JEE can vary each year, depending on the overall performance of candidates. a high level of competitiveness is inherent in these exams, emphasizing the need for thorough preparation.

Placement is good in BTECH CSE .. As 70 % students are placed in Btech CSE 2024 . Many talented students got 50 lpa and above from top companies. ( MANG).

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

Placement Experience:

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

Placement Experience:

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. The eligibility for sitting in placements are : - you should have a CGPA of 7 or above. - you are allowed to sit in placements from 7 semester.

Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
