Course is relevant but it maybe little bit hectic in starting. Maths courses are lot theoretical than JEE where you only have to calculate and no matter how. Here you have to write a mathematical essay on a question and essay should be to the point too

IIT kanpur's academics is really very tough . One has study properly for excelling in studies here in IIT K. Although tough curriculum they provide a lot of academic flexibility which is very fruitful. And also that there is a body ICS which helps students in there academics affairs

My course, BS physics, is a research oriented course. All the faculty members are highly qualified and really helpful. All the courses have a midterm and an endterm exam. These are also accompanied by quizzes.
I have deep interest in physics and I want to became a researcher . IITK has very good faculty:student ratio and they are well qualified and they are good in teaching. Here in IITK exam conducted as MIdsem and EndSem

I chose this course because I'm interested in pursuing it and the faculty-to-student ratio is generally around 1:15 and the professors are highly qualified. The term exams are organised once in every 4 months and you can pass easily if you start preparing about 2 weeks before the commencement of exams.

The course runs in semester I am of 4 months, and the faculty members are highly qualified but the whole thing is you will study only before the exam so all those things don't matter that much I think so overall it is good. The exams were always on time and the checking was strict, there was a semester system.

The course curriculum is nice and the student-friendly teachers are also quite good also they encourage if you have any doubts. The only thing here is relative grading which makes it good and also bad. Exams are at their pat level and test your knowledge.
Physics is vast and interesting subject but the course curriculum set by the professors here is highly engaging. Practical work is of utmost importance for the final examinations and for the credits. Guest speakers are also invited for some very informative sessions and seminars. The faculty members of the institute are highly professional and well experienced in the field of teaching. They are all Ph.D scholars in their specific fields.
Being in 2nd yr (online sem) haven't got much industrial exposure but yes our college provide really enough industrial exposure. Faculties are really good in IIT Kanpur. Naming one or two professors will be disrespectful as most professors are highly qualified and capable in their respective courses.
The 3 foundation Physics courses taught to all engineering students in the first year are Introduction to Mechanics, Introduction to Electrodynamics, and Physics Lab.
However, a BS in Physics is not a good choice if it's the placements you are after. It is a research-oriented program whereas IIT Kanpur provides an Engineering focused environment. So the best choice for a BS in Physics is IISER.
This is slowly becoming one of the most coveted branches of IIT Kanpur. All the software companies that open job profiles for Mechanical and Chemical students also offer roles to students of BS in Physics. In fact, you will be surprised to know that many software companies opened profiles only for CSE, EE, Mathematics, and Physics, and not for mechanical, chemical, or civil. So we can conclude that BS in Physics is considered even better than Mechanical and Chemical to a certain degree.
IIT Kanpur is second only to IISc in terms of global recognition and foreign education opportunities. It gives a constant edge to IISc in the quality of its research work and the overall standard of the institute.
While many may not agree, in my opinion, IIT Kanpur is even better than IIT Delhi or Bombay.
On an ending note, I would like to comment that make sure you go through the coursework once because the program comprises in-depth Physics concepts that everyone cannot handle.
Both IIT Kanpur and IISc Bangalore are renowned academic institutions in India. If you want to pursue theoretical physics like quantum mechanics then IIT Kanpur can be an ideal choice for you.
