Remarks :

It is one of my dreams to be one of the prestigious universities of the nation, India. And IIT Kanpur is one of the prestigious universities. Besides my hard work, IIT Kanpur will help me to amplify my excellence in my career.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Being in 2nd yr (online sem) haven't got much industrial exposure but yes our college provide really enough industrial exposure. Faculties are really good in IIT Kanpur. Naming one or two professors will be disrespectful as most professors are highly qualified and capable in their respective courses.

Class Size : 7Course Fees : INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement offering continues for 2-3 week every year for the final yr students. Most of the students end the placement weeks with happy faces which clears that it goes well.

College Events :

Campus life is beyond expressible. I'm already a volunteer and secretary in one of the greatest events in our cultural fests(Antaragni) in my 2 yrs. Technical fest (Techkriti) in our campus is also one of the best in the IITs( you can say among all the colleges in India ). Other than cultural and technical we also organise Sports Fest (Udgosh). There are many clubs(many technical, music, dance, and many other non technical ) and teams( compete in national and even international competition ond events) which help students to work on different projects and learn many things besides their curricular studies. It'll never end to continue sharing the whole campus activities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are many scholarships that are given to students every year. Specific names and details will be available after admission.

Campus Life :

We have a great sports facility with two sports complex(one old and one new containing all the types of indoor games starting from tt, squash to pool games, gym and more), one football ground, a hockey ground, 2-3 basketball courts, an athlete ground and a cricket ground. Along with we have tt table, and other indoor games and a basketball ground in every halls( hostels ). We have 24/7 wifi strong connection all over the campus. Library is really nice. It's one of the favourite place for students all over the campus and also the sleeping place before midsems. Labs are well equipped with the necessary equipments.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure are good. 2 new halls are recently made which are the best still now( can give you a feeling of motel) and more halls are also increasing every year for increasing no. Of students every year.

Hostel Fee : INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in my college. In 5 semesters students started becoming eligible for campus placement. The companies visited TCS, reliance, Zomato, Kota Bank, Infosys, Ola, OYO, uber, Amazon etc The highest ever package received by students in the college of my course is 800000. lakhs rupees. Per annum. 40-50%students get placement in my college. My plan after college is to preparation for the CAT exam. Get into a top college for MBA.

Hardships Of Having a Remote college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The terms were on time mostly and it was easy to pass if we were attending lectures and assignments on time as it is a practical based course rather than much based on theory. The teachers were helpful in most of the scenarios but some subjects were not handled properly as the faculty teaching it used to keep changing. Rest mostly all of the teachers were good.

Dei make their students a better human being first.

Placement Experience:

More specifically if I am talking about placement is that if you want to get good placements in dei that you must maintain your sgpa at least 8 points for you to appear in the placement cell. There are many companies visited in college like torrent power for electrical branch and other for their respective branches. Around 60% of students get their placements through college and it also depends on students' ability and skills. Since I am in the 4th semester so yes from 3rd year students get their training or internship through college to students with good grades. So you must have to maintain at least 8 sgpa for better placements.

Amazing college!

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first fill application form and then pay a small fee for applying to the college, then after submitting the marks scored in 10+2, students were called for a campus interview upon which the students were selected.

The placement opportunities are quite limited, but these opportunities will be increased within the upcoming years, there is high competition among the students to acquire the placements.

Engineering in the city of Gods

Remarks:

The one thing which is deteriorating the Masters level education in India is the double-mindedness of most of the GATE aspirants. Those with lower ranks join institutes of national importance such as ours just for the sake of the monthly stipend and the time they would get for GATE preparation. Such students waste the opportunity for someone else who is really interested in research, but could not get there due to low GATE score. It is high time that we prioritize our needs and act accordingly; it can only boost the research temperament among the student community.
