Course Curriculum Overview :

My course, BS physics, is a research oriented course. All the faculty members are highly qualified and really helpful. All the courses have a midterm and an endterm exam. These are also accompanied by quizzes.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many complaints visit the campus to offer internship opportunities to students. About 400 students get internship from the companies that visit the campus. Various jobs are included and the students gain experience from them.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees needs to be paid each semester. On average the fees is about 1.25 lakhs. This includes the hostel fees tuition fees, etc. The college provides financial assistance to students who need it. There are also scholarship opportunities.

Campus Life :

There are three fests conducted in the campus: antaragini the cultural fest, udghosh the sports fest and techkriti the tech fest. We have a large collection of books in the library. Almost all sorts activities are available and open to all students

Hostel Facilities :

Students are provided with hostels with double and triple sharing rooms. Mess provides food quality and nutritious food. We also have multiple canteens done of which are open all day long. Registration process is overlooked by the seniors and is thus easy and efficient

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year

Admission :

The entrance was through the JEE mains and advanced which are one of the toughest exam in the nation. The admission process was completely online and smooth and i didn't have any difficulties. Am students find the process easy.

All about Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics of IITK is great. Every year many 1cr+ packages as well as international packages are offered by top companies to students. The placement percentage is also increasing every year. The students become eligible to apply for companies after 3rd year ie. after 6th semester. The highest package offered was 4cr per annum while the average package was 22lacs per annum. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good paying job and start working.

There campus placements are very impressive. But in our branch the placement have not been started because it is new branch but it have very promising hopes of good employment in the upcoming years. The optimistic IITian

Placement Experience:

The college offers various placement opportunities. Many companies come and take people. It's usually starts in the month of December in the final year. I can tell about my branch average package is 33 lakhs and about some 90 lakh is highest package. Various tech non teach companies come like Google, Microsoft, sprinkler etc The minimum salary offered is 6 lakh per annum. People can easily get placement outside college because of IIT tag.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is relevant but it maybe little bit hectic in starting. Maths courses are lot theoretical than JEE where you only have to calculate and no matter how. Here you have to write a mathematical essay on a question and essay should be to the point too

The LIFE IN IIT KANPUR

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very impressive.From 3rd year onwards students are eligible campus placement.The Students having CPI 7 ARE eligible for campus placements , they wil not see only academics,they will also see in which they have participated,what are they capable in college programs in achieving, does he have leadership qualities or not , these many things they observe while doing campus placements . There are many companies visited to our campus, i will mention some of them like Google, Amazon, Zomato, Microsoft, TCS , ETC... In each branch nearly 150 to 200 offers are made .In my college the last year highest package is 8.9 crores and the average pakage is above 35 lakhs .The percentage of students getting campus placements is 89percentage .And my plan is getting the job in campus placements

Life after JEE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course as i loved mathematics. And i was eligible to take this course on the basis of jee rank. The faculty student ratio is about 11.This is a top tier institute in India and hence the faculty are highly qualified with post doctorate degrees in thier respective domain from well known universities.They teach in asuch a way that ignites my curiosity in that course.We are taught some courses out of our discipline so we can explore more things.Mid sem exams are held after 2 months of starting of semester followed by end sems after other two months.quizes are held on certain dates keeping into consideration the convenience of students as well as the faculties.
