Always positive. This is my life's greatest achievement to be in such a highly reputed college. also here we are allowed to study any course of any department yeah you heard it right so if you are a mechanical engineering student and wish to take classes in computer science then yes you are allowed.
I got admission through jee advance. All students who apply for advance need to be mains qualify. And the counseling process is done on jossa. Where students can fill an infinite number of choices.
IITB has certainly lived to its reputation I believed when I started pursuing this career. the college is much better than what I imagined it to be its been quite an adventure spending a year here. the fest's the opportunities everything about the college is quite satisfying. The only thing that I could think of that could be changed is the workload over us, students, because we are always between assignments and exams.
Campus life is the biggest positive for IIT B. Also, the small-batch size ( around 120) enables you to connect with your batchmates personally and cultivates Great friendships. You will also get a lot of opportunities to pursue your hobbies in any field because of the ecosystem you have in IITB
Positive: It's more a jungle, less of college and that's the best part. The environment is very good. The air is too clean. Occasionally we hear stories of leopard sighting, but I never saw them. We also have a hill inside the campus, Sameer hill, on which we can go on hiking, and enjoy the sunrise.
IIT Bombay is located in India's biggest metropolitan city - Mumbai. Yet it holds an entirely different culture of itself. the campus is very green and healthy and away from the hustle of always running Mumbai city. The institute also demands a lot of work and study from the students and thus we tend to get a bit away from the social life we have before entering IIT. Missing home is usually an issue with new joiners but as time passes one starts feeling college as a home and the hostel friends as a family.
If one wants to get a placement in good MNCs then it is the best college to study in because more than 300 companies visit the IIT campus. On the other hand, if one wants to go abroad to study, even though this college is best.
Overall, I found my college best. But it could have been more loving if people here would love to interact more. This is not true for all. There are interacting persons here as well. But their proportion is low. Also, in this huge college, you can find a lot of persons matchable with your interests and thoughts.
It is the best university in India. A lot of research work is going on there. A lot of fun activities along with profound pressure are part and parcel of our daily life. All I can think of are positive remarks.
Positive: Provides a lot of opportunities to develop practical knowledge along with theoretical things taught as part of the academic curriculum. Negative: It is very tough to maintain good academic performance as the environment is very competitive.
