Remarks :
IITB has certainly lived to its reputation I believed when I started pursuing this career. the college is much better than what I imagined it to be its been quite an adventure spending a year here. the fest's the opportunities everything about the college is quite satisfying. The only thing that I could think of that could be changed is the workload over us, students, because we are always between assignments and exams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer science engineering is the best branch in my opinion at the moment due to its large demand over the past few years. I am pretty good at coding thus can practice my stream more efficiently. The stream is the best I think of I could at the moment.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are best 100% of students get placed in my branch yes, the college offers internships but I am still studying here so don't have experience over them. my elder brother who went through an internship was sent to Samsung, Singapore and his experience was quite good.
College Events :
We have lots of fests though I can't remember the names we have different festivals for curricular as well as co-curricular activities, coding tests, competitions, quiz are daily ingredients of our wonderful college life.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
it's feasible for me. The fee structure is 1.25 lakhs per semester. there are certain scholarships available so we can easily get by if we really want to study. there are lots of opportunities and scholarships are merit-based as well as caste-based.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The scholarships are merit-based and caste-based students showing good academic results get concession over their tuition fees. candidates which are SC/ST/PWD gets scholarship based on their annual income. The college cares about all the students and I never heard anyone getting expelled due to fee issues. so it explains that the college has certainly lived up to its name in this too.
Campus Life :
sports activities include: basketball, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, badminton, we have well maintained and advanced labs we get equipment with much better accuracy than we used to get in our schools. for extracurricular we have dancing, singing, photography, coding, environment protection, etc kinds of clubs.
Alumni/Alumna :
the relations between seniors and juniors is quite good everyone seems to be caring I have no ragging issues and our freshers were a total blast. The seniors are quite helpful in academics too. they gave us sound advice in tests or club activities about what to do or what not to do.
Admission :
Through jee advance exam and JOSAA counseling. I prepared through coaching and school then applied for jee mains and then for jee advance passed the required cutoff and went through counseling to be here.
Faculty :
The college faculty are nice and cooperative. not all my doubts get clear either like most of the students but professors are pretty helpful in this. On the other hand, they are quite harsh on our semester grades, vivas, and lab work.
