NIT Kurukshetra Cutoff 2024 (Out): Check JEE Main, GATE, NIMCET, IIT JAM & DASA Cutoff

NIT Kurukshetra B.Tech cutoffs are released on the JoSAA portal after each round of counselling in the form of Opening and closing ranks. Usually, JEE Main cutoffs are released in 6 rounds on the JoSAA portal and the last two cutoffs are released for the supernumerary seats on the CSAB portal.

NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for CSE is 3951 – 5661 (Other States) & 5078 – 7405 (Home State) in Round 1 for general category students. In the year 2023, the overall BTech cutoff for NIT Kurukshetra ranged from 8544-9959 ranks for the general category candidates. On the other hand, in 2022 the closing cutoff for the NIT Kurukshetra BTech program remained at 9185 ranks.

The college campus is good. It is full of green environment . It gives fresh and positive vibes.
The faculties of this college is very well experienced and put full efforts to teach students

Dislikes

The hostel I got is one seater room hostel but they adjusted 2 students in one room which is a little bit difficult in cooperation
The student gets student IDs very late .

Admission:

I did not apply for any other college this is the only college from where I got seat confirms I chose this college because I got this in the counselling. I couldn't not get seat into iit because my marks in jee advanced are only qualifying.the admission process of .y college is first you have to give jee mains exams after the 12th for btech admission if you got good percentile like above 98 also depends on your category then you have to go through the josaa counselling from where you got seat in a college based on your percentile and preferences then you can report to the institute with proper documentation.

Review as a Fresher at NIT Kurukshetra

The thing i like the most in this college is the sports facilities available. There are plenty of options for students to choose from and excel in
The seniors in this college are extremely friendly and helpful. There is no case of ragging whatsoever which makes it easier for freshers to open up

The faculty for the freshers is usually the PhD students who dont have much experience which causes trouble for students to learn and they have to learn via sources like YouTube
The in-time for girls is set strictly to 8:30pm whereas boys can roam around till however long they want to.

I scored 97 percentile in JEE Mains 2024 and got a decent amount of college options to choose from. I chose this course as it was unique, the college had a brand value and it was near to my house which i prefer. I had recieved a confirmed admission from BITS Pilani in Mechanical Engineering but didnt go there as I felt like there is more return on investment in my current college. The average package here goes up to 11.9 lacs per annum which is the same as BITS Pilani Mech. The eligibility criteria here is scoring above 96 percentile in JEE Mains for a general category male.

The placements of the college is not so good

The college's that is applied by me is JC Bose University in which I got computer science and engineering and in DTU I got the branch electronic and communication.No I did not get rejection and choose nit because it's name value.The admission process after giving jee mains and applying in jossa i got seat.

Campus is full of Lush green trees and beautiful flowers
Climate here is very good. Not too hot not too cold till now

Mess food is sometimes okaish and sometimes very bad
In time for 1st yr students and cllg gate closes after 10pm

Proximity to my home and it is a tier 1 cllg and I was getting a good branch of my interest so I this cllg. I applied to NIT Jaipur but I was not getting branch of my choice due to high cutoff of nit Jaipur. Admission is fairly simple but lengthy process in my cllg. To get admission here you can get a good score in jee mains and apply through josaa or csab counseling

I wanted to go to IIST Thiruvananthapuram but as I belong to far north, it was a very long journey to go there. Here I came because the college is good. Also admission process was hassle-free.

THE NIT KURUKSHETRA EXPERIENCE

College has a beautiful campus with greenary all over the campus, college has a lake where students can spend time peacefully.
College has every facility that a student needs, such as wifi, 24/7 library and you can even order food in the middle of the night.

The clubs and societies are not much active, they become active on fests and events.
Boys and girls ratio is weak, like 4:1 for non-core branches.

Students have to give JEE Mains for taking admissions into NIT's as for the eligibility every branch has it's own eligibilty criteria according to the percentile, Computer engineering requires a high percentile about 98% or more. After the result student can take part in Jossa for counceling which will tell what collages can that student get with the suggested branch. Reservation benfits can be applied as state reservation for the sudents having same state as college or on the basis of OBC,SC,ST students which helps a lot because the cut-off for general students are about at 90 marks but for SC ST are about 40-50.

Admission process is through jee main if you got good percentile then you can choose this college and they also provide reservation for sc st OBC ews category as directed by our central government. If you got it,cs ece then it's best option in this college

Insights of Computer Dept of NIT KKR

Location factor , Kurukshetra is not the place where you can enjoy your college life , It is situated at tier 3 city .
Co-circular activities are not good and coding culture is going down from past few years

admission is done through JEE Mains exam and counselling done through JOSAA counselling .NITs have 50 % state Quota . Counseling is conducted in 6 rounds and then 2 special rounds. JEE main is 3 hour exam of 300 marks with +4 for every correct - 1 for negative answers

The honest review - National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra

NIT Kurukshetra is one of the highly reputed college in India. The curriculum they provide is amazing. They provide good facilities in sports too.
We have machine learning and AI course even for the core branches like mine. They focus more on practical knowledge over theoretical. Multiple laboratories and workshops are present here.

The professors are strict for the core branches but not for the circuital branches.

Anyone who wants to enroll here for any course of Btech will have to clear the highly reputed examination JEE Mains. It's application can be formed on the website of National Testing Agency(NTA). In this exam reservations are provided on the basis of quota SC,ST,OBS, General -EWS and some sort of female reservation is also here. The cutoff when I admitted here was 93 percentile for general female candidate. No improvement is required in admission process. Everything is almost online and smooth.

What are the MTech VLSI Design program cutoff to get admission in NIT Kurukshetra?

As per the previous analysis of the GATE cutoff, you can get the MTech VLSI Design program with 491 marks in the general category, 459 marks for the OBC category, 471 marks for the EWS, 311 marks for the SC Category. The selection of candidates will be scrutinized on the basis of GATE score CCMT counselling and a list will be prepared accordingly.

Is there any difference in the SC and ST cutoff of the BTech program at NIT Kurukshetra?

As per previous year cutoffs of NIT Kurukshetra (JEE Mains), it is observed that ST required Cutoffs are much lesser than the SC required Cutoffs. The closing rank for ST category candidate is 34167 (for Mechanical Engineering) wheras the closing rank for SC category candidate is 7046 (for Industrial and Production Engineering).
