Campus is filled with greener all around..
Infrastructure is good in terms of classes and administrative buildings
Girls to boys ratio is 1 : 4 which is fair enough in an engineering college..

Dislikes

Some professors are alot biased to their regional students specially the haryana ones..
The local peoples here are not that well behaved and have got bad eyes for girls..
Hostel Management is not that good in terms of action taken to problems

The admission in NIT Kurukshetra is based on josaa counseling and JEE Mains examination... I got a rank of 8764 in jee mains..I wanted to take admission in IITs but didn't got a good rank in JEE advanced even after clearing it.. although I am satisfied with my branch rn

The facilities are good and faculty and other staff is also good.
Campus is good and it's quiet and peaceful.
There is also a lake you can visit if you want.

Dislikes

There are limited shops or store in campus.
If you are a first year student (a boy) them in the allotted hostel you have to share a room which is basically a small room

Admission:

I asked about this college from many people who have good knowledge about engineering and according to my marks this was the best college I could have chosen. I get rejected from a few college because I didn't have the qualification for them or you can say my score was low for their college. For getting admission in NIT you have to take a exam called JEE-MAINS and you have get a good rank in this exam.

The campus area of college is approx 300 acres
The campus area is naturally fulfilled with tree
The placement ratio is also good of the college

Dislikes

The NIRF ranking of college is decreased
The location of college is not good and not having tourist place
Required of new technologies and new equipment in college

Journey full of ups and downs

Likes

Campus is lush green you would find greenery all over the campus and fresh air
Placement services are also quite good as it is not so students are focused towards studies
Faculties are generally supportive except some of them your batchmates are supportive you would bond with them easily

Dislikes

Social interaction I would say not that much good girls generally avoid interaction until and unless you are very much active in clubs and. Socities
Girls to boys ratio is also quite low in our sectio it is 9:1
Course relevance is not that upto par needs improvement and infrastructure is also not that good but it is improving day by day

Admission:

I applied for PEC chandigarh as it has very good campus life would give me good exposure as well but I didn't get my willing branch so I decided to forget that option My preparation was not that good for jee which made me suffer in getting good college and branch I applied for jossa counselling which bag me seat in nit kurukshetra cutoffs are generally high for nit kkr but range from different branches like 97 to 99.5 percentile students are seen in the campus

NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

Likes

The campus has amstudent community with a numerous clubs and societies for technical, cultural and sport activities.
The placement cell is highly active ,ensuring that a majority of students secure job in reputed companies.
Campus provide numerous scholarships to those students who belongs to financially weak background.

Dislikes

In our class of 70 students there are 12 girls on 58 boys . Ratio is very unbalanced.
Some teachers are very knowledgeable and very well experienced but some lack of effective teaching methods ,making difficult to grab concepts.
The syllabus is sometimes not fully aligned with industry trends and students need to rely on chatgpt(ai tools ) or youtube lectures.

Admission:

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly. Document verification:-Required documents include JEE scorecard, class 10/12th marksheet and income certificate for fee waivers. Pay intial fees and confirm your seat.

A Brief look towards NIT Kurukshetra bh

Likes

The maintainance of hostels is very well maintained.
Security is very well maintained as security guards are present at many places inside institute.
The place is quiet and wonderful for a safe learning environment.

Dislikes

Projects for students are rarely done for their internships.
So much strictness is not present. Teachers are responsible.
Network facilities are not good as lan is not working for most of time.

Admission:

I have chosen this college as it is in my home state and its nirf ranking is good. In my course the placenta are also great in the core side . Some other colleges does notet my working environment criteria such as IIT Ropar.

My college story

Likes

I liked my campus because it is green everywhere and spending time with friends is the most happiest things to do.
Social interaction in college is awesome there is lots of society and clubs where you can join and interact with senior and also enhances your skills and there are lots of things to explore in college
Quality of infrastructure is good but the building is too old and there is no development comes after nany year recently there is one building is made.

Dislikes

Some professor are good here but some are not they are egoistic type not giving the marks as you expect in exam and giving lower grades in exam and also some are not good in teaching as well as in taking lecture.
I personally don't like labs writing wors here because in lab writing is Major portion and you have to write the lab file and make the waveform and graph which is a very headache things
I really missed home food because sometimes in mess the food is not good in taste and we have to eat from outside

Admission:

First of all i only chose this college because of my rank in JEE main and jossa counselling so i got this college in jossa counselling so i have to come here. In my perspective it is also a good college but as compared to upper NIT and IIT it placement is low, infrastructure and academic and skills development,good environment. Admission procedure is totally based on jossa and rank in JEE main. I personally think every college is good and every college has its pros and cons.

What are the MTech VLSI Design program cutoff to get admission in NIT Kurukshetra?

As per the previous analysis of the GATE cutoff, you can get the MTech VLSI Design program with 491 marks in the general category, 459 marks for the OBC category, 471 marks for the EWS, 311 marks for the SC Category. The selection of candidates will be scrutinized on the basis of GATE score CCMT counselling and a list will be prepared accordingly.

As per previous year cutoffs of NIT Kurukshetra (JEE Mains), it is observed that ST required Cutoffs are much lesser than the SC required Cutoffs. The closing rank for ST category candidate is 34167 (for Mechanical Engineering) wheras the closing rank for SC category candidate is 7046 (for Industrial and Production Engineering).
