NIT Kurukshetra MCA admission 2024 via NIMCET are open. The MCA program at NIT Kurukshetra is based on the NIMCET scores and the registrations for the same has begun. NIT Kurukshetra offers a 3-year-long MCA program under the Department of Computer Applications. Candidates with a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA in BSc/ BTech/ BCA are eligible to apply for this program. NIT Kurukshetra MCA Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Interested candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with securing marks of at least 60% in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
- Candidates must have completed their graduation in BCA, B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), BIT, B.Voc (Computer Science/ Computer Applications), B.Tech, B.E., with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the mandatory subjects in full-time mode from any recognized university.
- Students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories get a relaxation of 5% marks.
Selection: NIT Kurukshetra offers limited admissions in the MCA program and the admission is strictly based on the national level entrance test i.e. NIMCET conducted by NIT Jamshedpur. The admissions are given only after the release of the merit list prepared by the institute itself, on the basis of marks scored in NIMCET.

The NIMCET exam 2024 will be conducted in the CBT (Computer-based Test) mode. This test will comprise 120 multiple-choice questions containing a total of 1000 marks. The curriculum for MCA at the National Institute of technology is Structured, Covering Core computer Topics such as programming, Data structure and Algorithms, and AI machine learning and more faculty are very highly qualified most of the faculty have Ph.D. degrees in their respective Field, overwall it's not that much tough to get admission in nit Kurukshetra and qualify for NIMCET exam.

In this college bot self finance course and course of regular category in present. As a result, only individuals who fall into the standard group are eligible for government scholarships. The one-semester fee including hostel rent is around Rs 50,000. The Mess charge is excluded and it comes per month. Mess charge remains around Rs 4,000 monthly. If one should apply for a Scholarship (State) then the chances for getting it is 70 to 80 percent (depends upon the state from where the candidate belongs).
