- NIT have good and green campus and peaceful environment
- Professors are well experienced and very friendly
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not much developed and very less numbers of shops are there in our campus which sell their goods at higher rate
- The 75 % attendance criteria is disgusting
Course Curriculum Overview:
My branch is IoT and it comes under the ECE department. Curriculum of both in 1st year is same except the fact that we study python programming but in ece branch they use to study chemistry . Im interested in robotics and sensor technology thats why i choose this branch In IoT you have study real world technology and many new technology for futures like iot sensors robotics automation etc We have 2 mid sem exams in two months and one endsem exam
Likes
- Campus life: there's a lot to do here if you're willing to explore!
- Friends: Even though it's hard to make friends if you're from South India, once you find a good friend group, it's for life!
Dislikes
- Food: very bad and dry food without much variety.
- Hostel: very bad rooms and it's not spacious.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course was related to both cs and ece which could possibly help us in getting a technical core job or a software job. This course is specialized to help us in learning real world applications of smart devices and sensors. We have 3 exams in each semester so a total of 6 per year, out of which 2 are the big exams (endsems).
Likes
- the beautiful and lush green campus spread over a wide area . the campus has a lake of its own .
- various sports opportunities and world class facilities to train and practice.
Dislikes
- the hostel rooms are quite a bit shrinked and one can face difficulties in adjusting.
- the food quality of mess food is also not very good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is Industrial Internet of Things under the Electronics and communication Department includes the various aspects of internet of things , artifical intelligence , machine learning and deep learning etc. the curriculum aims to provide indepth knowledge of the domain internet of things also known as IOT. It is an evolving technology in India and it is basically a mechanism which allows us to connect the various electronic devices through software and its control becomes easy and systematic.
Likes
- Campus life is very enjoyful and there is a lot of fun in the college life.
- infrastructure of college is great and building of college is well constructed.
Dislikes
- Hostel mess food is not so good and the charges are considerably high.
- Professors are not teaching properly and completly. Also they send phds scholars to teach us.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I was getting ECE , IOT and other below branches of NIT KURUKSHETRA. But I preferred IOT over Ece because it have syllabus related to cse and classes load is also less than ece. Also this branch IOT has bright scope in future. Faculty and students ratio is very good and it might be 1::25 All faculties are phd holders and have experience of atleast 7 years Term exams are not so much timely. Our mid sem 1 exams are conducted after 2 months and they are not so much difficult to pass.
Likes
- The campus it is green and beautiful and sports complex gym is availble with all equipments
- Time table was not too tight nor too loose its good overall
Dislikes
- Teachers who teaches you in the first semester are phd students who are not good at explaining at all
- There are 2 mid sem exams for semester which is cruel we should be studying this rather focusing on our skills
Course Curriculum Overview:
As the name of the course suggests it is related to some CSE. I opted for it but later I came to find out that our branch was a sub-branch of ECE.as it was a new branch I got to come in a low cut-off 1 faculty for 60 students the faculty was not very qualified. Those who teach in the first sem are generally Ph.D. students and they merely explain anything we have 2 mid-sems for a semester and practical examination and final end sem and it was not very difficult to pass the exam
