Placement Experience:
The placements are good so far and every year at least 80% of students get placed and the companies that come to give placements are mostly core companies. The average package every year is 8LPA. So I do have a plan to sit on placement.

- This is an institution run by MHRD Govt. of India.It is deemed to university having latest laboratory equipments and good faculty and infrastructure.
- To get addmission in this institution and admission test is conducted every year which needs to be cleared
Dislikes
- Everything is nice ,the hostel food is average
- Hostels are a bit old. Some renovations need to be done
Placement Experience:
90% of Students here get placed in some reputed companies like Google, Adobe, Oil India, Vedanta, Byjus, etc. The highest offered package is 1800000 INR and the average package is 800000 INR. From seventh semester onwards eligibility starts.

- Yeah it is good college for pursuing B.Tech engineering.
- Teachers and staffs are all good and they will always help us in every ways.
Dislikes
- Some local students do dadagiri thats the problem

yeah the placement in NERIST is good. You can sit on the placement when you are in B.Tech 3rd year. The highest placement was 20lpa. There are many company that come to NERIST for placement. 92% students get the placement every year.
Likes
- The campus and weather is best here I say. If u are one who want a lot of free time this is the best engineering college i say. With a descent in everyfield.
- The sports activities and cultural fest which are held annually are unbelievable here.
Placement Experience:
Placements are not upto the mark. But it is okay as compared to the ratio of the students. If you are in top 5 or top 10 college really have something good for you. If you are a studious guy you can achieve it as u get enough time. Because of less academic pressure.

- We are all studying here as a whole with a good bonding and friendly environment
- Like in the nerist it's good for all of the north eastern students as well as overall Indian students can study here with an average fees so that all of middle class families as well as financially strong families can effort the course and education.
Dislikes
- In case of fooding and hostel management quality of food is not tasty and good
- In case of extra curricular activities if possible then it can be skipped for some activities
Placement Experience:
Placements are very average in my opinion because out of 50 plus students, only a few used to get the placement and there are no higher companies, packages are also average like 6 LPA per annum and for my electronics and communication branch placement is almost not available like 2 to maximum 5 students.
Likes
- The Environment and roads are good, a good number of trees are around which is good for health
- The quality of classroom is good and clean
Dislikes
- The poor quality of labs and equipment available for experiment
- The Providence of campus placement, scholarship and internship.
Placement Experience:
For the 8th sem campus placement is available, but for very fewer students like 1 for every 20 students. Vadanta, TCS companies comes with a package of around 8LPA. Highest package is 9.72LPA and on an average it's around 6LPA(this is also given to only a few students). Less than 10% students get the on campus placement. I will go for higher studies.

- The newly built football ground with artificial grass.
- The bus facility provided by the institution.
Dislikes
- There is no drinking water in college areas.
- The old building should be re-new and colour them.
Placement Experience:
The students can apply for the campus placement in the final years only in the last semester. Various companies like oil, iocl, vedantu, etc cam for placement offers in the college. The average package in the college is nearly 5.5 lakhs annual.

- I liked the atmosphere here and the greenry around here along with the mountains, it's such a soothing site to see and experience
Placement Experience:
Students after completing their BTech 3rd year are eligible to sit for campus placements based on their CGPA and no active backlogs. As per my knowledge which I heard from my seniors, there are some companies with high paying packages around 15-20 lakhs
Likes
- The environment here is good. There are lots of trees and the air here is very fresh and cool.
- The faculty members here are very helpful and kind and are always ready to help you out with any type of difficulty.
Dislikes
- The hostel rooms are the worst in condition. There could be new beds and tables and proper lightings in the bathroom and toilets.
- The hostel food is very bad, the quality of the food can be increased and proper healthy foods can be provided.
Placement Experience:
The placement cell of our college is very active. Many companies like OIL India and Vedanta come where the 12LPA is often offered. Almost some percentage of students get placement, if the class has a strength of 60 students then 5 or 6 of them get to sit in placement. My plans after getting a degree is to apply for job or get a job in a PSU company.
Likes
- The environment, nature of people, availability of guidance and people who wants to know how you think.
- My room, library the books availability and the peaceful cubicles in the library.
Dislikes
- The mess food, the hygiene there and the water. Girls hostel time restriction i.e., 7 p.m.
- Bathing water is quite dirty and my room is just so damp.
Placement Experience:
The final year students are allowed to sit for placements. We the b.tech 3rd year students have to earn experience doing some industrial internships. There are quite good no. of campus placement that happened last few years the salaries ranged from 3.5lpa to 15lpa and average students got 8lpa jobs offered. It is based on personality , skills and experience.

Is NERIST good in terms of placement?
NERIST was once considered one of the best institutes in the region. The placement record was remarkable and according to the standard of the industry.
However, the quality of the institute has started to fall in the current situation. It does not fit as per the mark of a Regional deemed university. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Power grid corporation, Wipro, Oil India, Infosys, Cummin India, TCS, visit the campus nowadays.

The institute is expecting more recruiters as there is a railway facility in Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from on-campus placements, you can also look for off-campus placements and government jobs.

You definitely have a good chance of exposure in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and civil engineering. According to the placement highlights the highest CTC offered is 3 LPA. Most IT companies come for the placement drive.
The institute will offer decent opportunities but you also need to put in efforts to get decent placements.
