NERIST Application is an online process accessible at http://www.neeonline.ac.in or http://www.nerist.ac.in.
Steps for Application
- Register with valid email ID and mobile number at the Application Portal https://www.neeonline.ac.in
- Check for program eligibility and proceed to complete application details.
- Upload required documents and review the application
- Make online payment of application fees (INR 1000) using Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking and submit. Please note that NERIST does not allow any edits in the form once it is submitted.
- Applicants are advised to retain a print out of the completed application form to be produced at the time of counseling.
Please note that NERIST follows a reservation policy for the candidates of SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PWD and EWS Category in accordance to the rules of Govt. of India.

Course Details
B.Tech at NERIST is offered in six different engineering disciplines, namely, Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Admission is on the basis of NERIST conducted entrance test NEE II. The institute also accepts students having a valid JEE Main score.

B.Tech Eligibility
Eligibility conditions to NERIST B.Techhas two aspects: academic and age.
- Academically, applicants are required to be:
- Higher Secondary or Class 12th Appeared/ Passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Appeared/Passed Higher Secondary equivalent (ITI/ NERIST Certificate) or Class 12th (Vocational stream)
- Age-wise Maximum Age of applicants, as on July 31, 2020, should not be more than 23 years (General)/ 26 years (OBC & female)/ 28 years (ST/SC/PH).
- For B.TechLateral Entry, candidates who have Appeared/ Passed 3 Years Diploma in relevant field from a government recognized polytechnic or institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% will be considered eligible.
- For B.TechLateral Entry, applicants need to fulfill the age criteria as specified by NERIST as Maximum Age as on July 31, 2020 is 40 years (General)/ 43 years (OBC and Female)/ 45 years (ST/SC/PH).
- In order to gain lateral entry into B. Tech, applicants need to qualify NEE III.
B.Tech Selection Criteria
- Selection is on the basis of academic merit and performance in entrance test.
- Candidates who have studied PCM in their 10+2 level are required to take a 3-hour 150-question test comprising of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Candidates who have done their 10+2 in vocational studies need to take a 3-hour 150-question test comprising of questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and relevant vocational subject.

- This is an institution run by MHRD Govt. of India.It is deemed to university having latest laboratory equipments and good faculty and infrastructure.
- To get addmission in this institution and admission test is conducted every year which needs to be cleared
Dislikes
- Everything is nice ,the hostel food is average
- Hostels are a bit old. Some renovations need to be done
Course Curriculum Overview:
The specific aspects of my curriculum that influenced me is the vision of it. Various internship programs are conducted and supervised. We also have some professionals who have a good working experience.The timming of exam is twice in a semester and students don't face any difficulty for that.

- Friendly environment with various types of people gathering from all parts of india
- Friendly class atmosphere with helpful teachers
Dislikes
- Hostel maintenance is very lacking and needs to be looked at
- College compound is very open and seems like a public college
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very interesting and very vast and as such it has widened my view about various aspects of the world. There can be some improvements in teaching at a certain level but stopping down to the standard level of students.
Likes
- The environment here is good. There are lots of trees and the air here is very fresh and cool.
- The faculty members here are very helpful and kind and are always ready to help you out with any type of difficulty.
Dislikes
- The hostel rooms are the worst in condition. There could be new beds and tables and proper lightings in the bathroom and toilets.
- The hostel food is very bad, the quality of the food can be increased and proper healthy foods can be provided.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since my childhood I have a keen interest with how some machineries work, about their gear system and drives. As a result when I got admission here I already had an aim for mechanical engineering. The professors here are very friendly and helpful, they are always ready to give advice and clear our doubts. From time to time they give assignments and homeworks to make our concepts clear. Now for better improvement there could be more smart classes and training of the professors on how to use the smart boards so that they can display us animation and 3d models as mechanical engineering requires lots of visualisation and perspective. So for better understanding of concepts smart classes can be introduced. The exams are held regularly after 2 months of the start of a semester which I think is a good timing and balanced. During examination we also often get gap due to which we are able to complete the syllabus and study well too.

- Good infrastructure and big campus surrounded by long green tree
- 24*7 library is open for students , so that students can prepare for civil service examination.
Dislikes
- Shortage of water in big hostel during weekends .
Course Curriculum Overview:
In semester two exams are conducted mid-semester 30 marks and end-semester 50 marks respectively. All faculties are well qualified. A future application-oriented workshop will be held in a month. Many projects is done by graduate students.
Likes
- College fees is very less. Mess fee is very less.
- College provide good opportunity for players who want to make their carrier in sports
Dislikes
- Hostel infrastructure is poor. Need some improvement
- Some maintainance is required in labs and workshops

Mechanical engineering have a good workshop from which we learn various things . Our department have good number of students who placed . The exams are held regularly . Some improvement is required in workshop.

- Liked the cultural festival of the institute RACAF
- Liked the sports event organised in the institute

- There many programs are done by the institute which are forced by the Government that includes Azadi ka amrit mahotsav etc

There are two exam in a semester Mid sem and end sem Mid is of 30 marks and end sem is of 50 marks 20 marks is for quiz and assignments ( it is of the teachers choice wheather teacher can take quiz or assignment )

Various activities in the institute such as cultural events, annual sports events and annual tech fest of the institute called Shristi where we invite guests for the talk show. Excellent lab facilities.

- The environment, nature of people, availability of guidance and people who wants to know how you think.
- My room, library the books availability and the peaceful cubicles in the library.
Dislikes
- The mess food, the hygiene there and the water. Girls hostel time restriction i.e., 7 p.m.
- Bathing water is quite dirty and my room is just so damp.
Course Curriculum Overview:
All are good. Only experienced 2 teachers who try being physical with girls . Other then them all the teachers I came across were so good and helpful over the period till now ... It's been 5 years I'm here and I liked the systematic teaching they do ....they take care of how we are learning and progressing.

- Maintenance is not up to point. Workshop equipment is not up to mark
- Water problems. Beacause of hill area it occurs regulary.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is 2+ 4 that is Base and B-Tech Programe. As it has base module programme which is equivalent to class 12 it provide less stress on students because of the topics divided into four semesters.

- There is diversity in our college different state people are there . There is very clean environment , fresh air . too much tress.
- The educational fees and hostel fees are very less

- In a week 2 holiday are given sat and sund .
- The placements are not good . there is lack of companies

Our new director sir is stricted towards academics . so overall academics is good . there is not much good facility for labs . Exams are conducted on time . mid term is in march and end term last week of may .
