NIAMT Admissions 2025

NIAMT Ranchi enrolls candidates based on their All India National Level Entrance scores. Candidates with a valid JEE Main score are allotted seats based on JoSAA Counselling. Eligible candidates, if interested, may apply by following the steps given below.

• Visit the JEE Main official website.
• Register for the application form.
• Save the system-generated application number and create a password.
• Login and fill out the form.
• Upload the necessary documents.
• Make the online payment via Debit card, Credit card, Net Banking or via UPI.
• Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

For JoSAA Counseling:

Candidates qualifying the JEE Main exams must register and appear for the JoSAA Counselling. Qualified candidates can follow the steps given below.

• On the JoSAA website, click on the Registration Page.
• Use your JEE Main application number to login.
• Ensure that your candidate profile is filled accurately.
• Submit the changes.
• Fill out your preferred colleges and specialisations, according to the list of available options.
• Once you choose, click on ‘I agree to lock my choices’.
• Keep a printout of the page for future reference.

NIAMT Campus & Facilities

NIAMT Ranchi has a 58-acre campus with world-class facilities. Some of these are mentioned below. Ankit Raj, an NIAMT BTech Metallurgical & Materials Engineering student states that in the first year, students were provided with double seater rooms while from 2nd year onwards, they were living in single rooms. These rooms are quite large for 1 person to accommodate. The mess quality is poor as they barely cook edible food so one has to eat outside on a regular basis. Hostel allotment is done on a freehand basis during the admission process.

• Central Library: The Library and Documentation Centre of NIAMT is rendering valuable services to the Institute and users. It has more than 50,450 reading Materials (Books, Bound Volume of Journals, Standards, Transparencies, Slides, Video cassettes, Microfilms and LRs, etc). The centre subscribes 77 Journals and 1100 e-journals.
• Meeting Halls & Board Rooms

• IT & Networking Cell: IT&N Cell has 50+ Desktop Computers dedicated to provide facilities to Students and Recruitment Online Testing. It manages the Institute Email Application and also provides the interface between the Institute and Department.
• Labs & Workshops: The Laboratory Block comprises of various laboratories such as Sand Laboratory, Metallographic Laboratory, Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) Laboratory, Non-Destructive and Mechanical Testing Laboratories, Spectroscopy Laboratory, Environmental Monitoring and Pollution Control Laboratory, Metrology Laboratory, Forging Laboratory,Composite development laboratory and Computer Center etc.
• Auditorium

• Hostels: Residential facilities are provided to students in four boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel. The hostel provides accommodation on a double sharing and triple sharing basis.
• Guest House
• Health Facility: A Doctor and two paramedical staff with adequate nursing facility are available in the campus in case of any medical emergency. Medications available at campus include Detention and primary care facility, basic life saving equipment including NIBP, monitor, Oxygen kit, ECG, and Ambulance Service.
• Bank & ATM: Inside the NIAMT campus, a Canara Bank (NIAMT Branch) is situated. This bank is for students and faculty, both.
