The admission process is fast forward, we can get the forms, fee details and application dates through the college's official page of not we can visit the academic office for more information. There can be certain improvements which can be made such as putting signs to let people know the correct office for admission process as the academic office is very large and new people find it hard to find the specific office.

After completing 10th ,12th, or a diploma, aspiring candidates interested in pursuing a B.Tech degree at NERIST can apply for entrance exams named NEE-1, NEE-2, and NEE-3 respectively, each corresponding to their educational background. The official website www.nerist.ac.in provides comprehension details about these exams. Applicants must note that there is negative marking in the exams, with 1/4th of marks deducted for every wrong answer. The application free for the exam is Rs.1500, while ST candidates are required to pay Rs.1000 only. The exam duration is 3 hours, and it consists solely of multiple choice questions covering fundamental concepts in mathematics, chemistry and physics.
The college takes admission through JOSAA and CSAB councelling for students who cleared jee mains and also conducts internal exams for admission which consists of exams for 10th passed students, 12 the passed students and diploma cleared students. I got in through NEE 1 which is for the 10th passed students.

The admission process is quite on the basis of an entrance exam only. You need to take NEE I , NEE II, or NEE III. To enter this college. NEE I is for after the 10th guys while NEE II is for after the 12th and NEE III is for lateral entry after the diploma you can join by that.

I have taken an entrance exam known as NEE-1 for admission to this college. It didn't have any fixed cut-offs. I didn't like the reservation process. Here the eligibility is if any seat for any course is empty and the student has been selected by the college then they can opt for it. The application can be found on the NERIST website itself and there is a fee of Rs1000/- for general.

The College conducts an entrance exam with 3 entries, for NEE 1, Matriculation pass students are eligible to appear, for NEE 2, 12th pass students are eligible to appear and also students through josa are admitted to the college. THROUGH NEE 3, students who have done diploma are eligible to join in their respective domain , the application form is available on the website of the college
From your question, it’s not quite clear which examination you took. NERIST conducts 3 examinations, i.e. NEE1, NEE2, and NEE3. You can appear for NEE1 after HSLC. NEE2 is for after the 12th. NEE3 is for after graduation.
If you have taken NEE1 or NEE2, there are good chances that you will be selected. Most students do their 10+2 and don’t join. For NEE2, students leave their seats, if they receive a better college.
However, for diploma students, it is one of the best colleges available in the Northeast. So, if you are a diploma student then it will be quite difficult to get admission with your rank.
