Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student.I chose this course because our department has the best infrastructure and well maintained lab apparatus. The professors here are well aware of the industrial exposure,so they make the students prepare for the real world.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for placement drives.Many reputed Companies like OIL INDIA, GOOGLE, VEDANTA, TATA, BYJUS, NYKAA, ADOBE, MERCHANT NAVY etc visit our campus for recruitment. The institution guarantees 90% placement rate.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The institution unlike others has some increase policy and the rate of such hikes is 10% every two years. The complete cost of our education including tuition fees and other compulsory charges is 300000

Campus Life :

The institution also understands the value of co- curricular activities for all round development of students, keeping that in mind we have many clubs such as eco club, music club, sports club etc. The institution has two main events RACAF, which is the annual cultural fest and SYNERGY, which is the annual sports meet.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are quite good. The facility includes spacious rooms, ceiling fan, lights, high speed wi-fi connection. The quality of food is very awful but hygiene is maintained so far. The registration for hostel is done during the counselling sessions.

Hostel Fee : INR 24000 per year

Admission :

To get admission into this university, a student must have to secure more than 55% in their board exam followed by an entrance test offered by the institution itself, after qualifying the test counselling session takes place where the branches are assigned according to availability of seats.

Faculty :

The faculty members of every department are very humble and approachable. For every four students there is a mentor professor. Every faculty members holds PhD degrees. Moreover they are well experienced in the teaching skills.

Life in NERIST

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are lot of curriculum activities such as National Cade Crops( NCC) and National Sevice Scheme (NSS ) NSS helps student to develop their characters and personality which will have positive impact on the community or society. From time to time the NSS officials initiate the cleaness drive program within the campus and they encourage the studens to participate the program. In NERIST there is a major events like SHRISTI and RACAF which is celebrated every year.

Placements are not upto the mark. But it is okay as compared to the ratio of the students. If you are in top 5 or top 10 college really have something good for you. If you are a studious guy you can achieve it as u get enough time. Because of less academic pressure.

Nit, Papum Pare : Review

Placement Experience:

Yes, our nit has 70% placement. Companies like: Deloitte,S2tech,L&T construction,Accolite etc. In 2020 nearly 40 companies visited our institute. And they offered nearly 120 offers. My plan is simple to get a good sgpa and dream to get placed in reputed companies like TCS which offers the humongous opportunities to our college.
