Mizoram University is one of the leading universities in North East India. Established in 2001, It is a central university that is recognized by the UGC and accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the NAAC. Mizoram University is ranked 76th among the top 100 universities in India by NIRF 2023. Mizoram University has a huge campus of approx 978 acres and is located on the outskirts of the city, Aizawl.
MZU has 39 functioning academic departments offering various UG, PG, and PhD programs under 10 schools of study. Mizoram University Admission Process
Admissions at Mizoram University or its affiliated colleges are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. Mizoram University accepts national-level entrance exams such as CUET UG, CUET PG, JEE Main, NATA, and GATE for admission to specific courses. Mizoram University offers distance and online learning through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Mizoram University has a campus of 978 acres offering all the modern facilities to its students. The university is about an hour’s drive from main city of Aizawl, Mizoram. - It is located in the peak of the majestic landscape of Mizoram which refresh our mind and body.
- Our classmates are mostly Mizo, who are polite, generous and disciplined.
Dislikes
- Their business route does not reached the end of the city area,which is difficult for some students to reach on time.
- As situated in a high altitude hill area,winter may be a bit harsh from Central Indian students.
Admission:
12th Science passing students securing 60% above and students having sports certificate of district level and above can joined in a direct admission. The sports quota admission should be strictly changed to minimum of State level as it blocks the way for admission of hardworking students.

- library is good and gives the user variety of available books
- have a good climatic conditions which is not too hot and not too coold
Dislikes
- while there are good teachers there are also some bad teachers who would not take class regularly and the students need to tell them to take class many times
- the roads must be repaired as some of the roads are too bad and damaged now
Admission:
i have done the entrance exam and availed the tribal reservation seat or rather the homeland reservation seat. we had entrance exam through online link and the difficulty of the exams were upto B.Sc standard and was not that hard overall if studied well

- First of all the people here are incredibly generous and supportive towards the students and has a very good environment for education.
- The campus is very big, engulfed with greenery all over the place, present in the mountains which gives a very positive feeling to be in here. Students regardless of whatever stream you belong, are ready to help you and be with you and for you
Admission:
The course eligibility is- BSc with Geology as honors, Have appeared CUET Or Have appeared in the MZU Entrance Test. Minimum 65% marks in BSc. I got admission through CUET. You need to fill up your name in the admission portal and wait till the merit list is declared. Competition for seats is high but a minimum of 150 marks in CUET is preferred.

- Food : you can get only 2 times food in hostel.
- Campus life: campus life is very poor.
Admission:
You can take admission through JEE Mains and MZUEEE. MZUEEE is a university Entrance Exam. Admission process is very smooth and easy. The University doesn't provide any internship or any placement. I would suggest you to another college. If you don't have any option or your financial condition is very bad then you can prefer this University. Otherwise, my recommendation is go to another college.

Admission:
The course I opt for is Btech, for which I gave the Jee Mains Entrance Exam. The application form for the JEE exam can be found at the NTA official website. From the NTA website I first registered for JEE Mains. The JEE Mains is held twice every year, general in January and April.The date of the examination is sent to you through your email id with your admit card. There is a reservation system also, for SC(Scheduled caste) 15%of seats are reserved, for ST(scheduled Tribe) 7.5% of seats are reserved, for OBC(Other backward caste) 27% of seats are reserved and for EWS(economic backward caste)10% of seats are reserved. The difficulty level of the exam is very unpredictable, it can be sometimes very tough and sometimes quite easy, so you can say it depends on your luck. If you get qualified for the exam, the counseling process takes place in like 4-5 rounds, in those rounds you have to select the college or university and the department you want to get in. It all takes place online.

- The teachings of the respective teachers are quite good and understandable.

- The Hostel mess is not that good, I mean it's just ocassionly good.
- The infrastructure of the hostel especially the bathrooms/toilets.
Admission:
I got admission here through JEE Mains (Josaa Counseling) in 2022 so everything was fine and easy regarding the payment of admission fees or course fees. You can also get admission here in this University through MZUEE which is an entrance exam for MZU. Regarding the application form, it is provided in the specific department office or we can get it from the Dean of Student Welfare (DSW).
Admission:
I applied to Ziritiri Residential College but did not admit myself because Pachhunga University College was a better choice for me. The admission criteria in Pachhunga University for students are to score above the 55% mark. The class 10th board exam marks are also important for admission. There is no restriction in age for admission. The admission process was fully online and there is no counselling of the sort.
Admission:
1) I didn't apply to other colleges. 2) I didn't avail any quota. 3) I 65% so they can give me direct admission. 4) Up to 60% Direct Admission 60 below entrance test compulsory. Except for Sports Quota and Employee's family.
Admission:
In order to get admission the students must at least 60% marks in HSSLC and direct admission is taken on a merit base so they need to have a minimum of 80% from HSLC and HSSLC. As far as I know, there is no age limit but in the case of back paper, the student can reexamine up to 6 times. The admissions were basically done online as we need to fill up the admissions form online and after some days, the selected list was posted and those who are selected done their admission both online and in the college.
Admission:
College is situated in a very amazing and scenic location. Admission starts in the month of June-July. It is published in local dailies and NIELIT Kohima FB group and page. The admission process is very simple and easy. They don't accept cash, only digital or card payment is accepted. I chose this institute because this was the only Institute having BCA in Kohima.
