The labs stole my heart i was always amazed of the phyics lab and chem lab and after ding some experiments i was very happy
Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .

Dislikes

Getting no leaves for preparation between exams is the worst thing happening here
The teaching is very bad by some of the research oriented professors.

The atmosphere in our college is really good. The greenery here makes the campus really beautiful and charming.
The societies here are really good. Students get to learn a lot and they make very good friends and connections.

Dislikes

I didn't like the quality of food that we get in our hostel mess.
The hostels in the campus must be re-innovated. They are pretty old.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are really good. About 9 students got a mouth watering package of 1 Cr+. Students who are in final year of their course are eligible for campus placements. IIT Kharagpur students are known to be hired by world class companies like Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Samsung, etc. My plans after getting my degree is to apply for campus placements and join one of these top companies.

Likes

Cross-Culture provides very good opportunity to understand different people and make the ambience diverse.
The various Fests makes it a lot more enjoyable and stress releasing.

Dislikes

The great distance one have to cycle to reach classrooms.
The shops and restaurants offering meals and snacks are very expensive.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible to sit for placement. A lot of tech companies like Mercedes, Rolls Royce, and Tata, making a lot of offers to the brilliant students studying here, The highest Package is 1.5Cr and the average package is 30,00,000. Around 70 - 75% of students get placed every year. I am planning to go for in-campus placement after the degree.

I liked here the campus and the facilities of sports and the environment here and also there are a lot of societies and clubs which gives us a very good environment
and the teaching quality is also nice here

Dislikes

i do not the like the rooms here as they are triple sharing
i also do not like the distance from hostel to classroom complex

Placement Experience:

from semester three students become eligible and almost three hundred companies visits the cmapus and two ninety five offers were made to the students from all branches .the highest package was of one crore sixty two lakhs given by google usa and average package was forty lakhs by google . companies that visited were google amazon deloitte and bcg around ninety percent of students are placed and my plans after getting degree is also job in a high paying recruiter that is the reason i came to this college.

College life. students from different corners of India come here and study together
Extremely qualified faculties and classroom facilities

Dislikes

Cycling too much, buildings are located too far
Mess food could have been better in terms of menu

People crack internships in 2nd and 3rd year and sit for placements in 4th year. Over thousands of offers made, check out awaaz and scholar's Avenue Facebook handles for placements statistics. I'll sit for placements after getting degree.

Likes

There are many talented people her so it make a competetive environment.
The sport facility is so good that wasnt expected from anyone.

Dislikes

The mess food sometimes is so bad that we have to buy from outside
There is so much competition for joining a club or society.

Placement Experience:

People are eligible for placement from 4th year and some from the 5th year or else they can do higher studies. Around 300 companies visited 1353 offers Highest package 1.68 crore and average of 15 lakhs. Around 78 percent. I want to sit for placement.

The students and their behavior including the seniors.
The climate is really pleasant in evenings and the campus life is really good

Dislikes

The humid climate during days is an issue sometimes
It rains all of a sudden sometimes causing problems.

Placement Experience:

I have not yet reached the placement time because i am a fresher. But more than 1000 offers are made to students and placements are pretty good as i got to know from my seniors. The highest package from chemical branch was 75 lacs last year.

The environment of study and students are very good.
Culture of IIT kharagpur society and clubs

Placement Experience:

After 4th year student will able to get placement through college. There are many companies like Zomato,Uber, Google, Nvidea and many more. Highest package is 4.5 crpa. average package is 22.4 lpa.The placement rate is 100 percentage. Like I have started website development and I will go in that branch.

The facility of extracurricular activities in the campus and its flexibility
Friendly environment and cooperation among the students

Maintenance of hostel should be looked upon with greater efforts.
The quantity of meals in hostel mess is a bit inadequate

Placement Experience:

From the 7thn semester students are eligible for campus placements however several PPOs are also offered to the students . Big multinational companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Quantbox, TSMC, McKinsey , etc. visit the campus . The number of offers made is over 1600. The average package is around 20 lacs and with over 70 job profile being offered. The placement percentage is 100 for those who do not opt for higher studies. My plans include doing masters in a top university in USA.

My experience here is too good.Campus is too neat and good.Faculties are too good.There are a lot of courses here at IIT KGP.

Dislikes

Outside the campus there is no proper facilities.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students are eligible from 4 th year. There are a lot of companies visited here with a good package.I think Highest package in previous year was 2.7cr and avg is 20lpa.Percentage of students for placement vary according to their branch.
