Students become eligible for internship from 5th semester while for placement they are eligible from 7th semester and mostly by the end of 8th sem everyone gets placed or get admission in Universities for further studies. Google, Microsoft, etc comes for placement in tech field and for core branches L&T, Mercedes, etc comes for.placement .mostly 90%+ of students who sits for placement get placed in placements.

Basically, the course curriculum has 2 class tests and 1 end-of-semester test along with an assignment which will either be a writing thing or group project or sometimes a seminar. The assignment given as a seminar is one of the good choices I feel because it makes us research more about the course. 2 class tests will make us study the whole syllabus part by part which is useful for us for the end semester. And we do have an attendance thing which is mandatory for every course. We should have above 75 percent to appear for the exam. So, I feel the course curriculum followed is pretty good. But all professors can change the writing assignment to a group project or a seminar by each. That's the only correction I feel.

The placements here are very much good. The companies coming in are mostly MNCs and they take atlest 2 to 8 students form each branch if they are willing to take from the branch. The packages are also quite good ranging from 5 LPA to 35 LPA in mechanical engineering.

Initially before admission to the college, I had a great interest in the mechanical automobile sector, and my interest in mechanics led me to choose this branch. Faculty to student ratio is 1:14. PhD in the corresponding teaching field. The exam was according to the syllabus and was not very easy to pass.
Case-avg 18–19 LPA and highest 92.5 Lakhs ECE- avg 11LPA and highest 42 Lakhs. EEE -avg 9.5 LPA and highest 38 Lakhs ME - avg 7.5 -8LPA and highest 32 Lakhs. My couse is mechanical engineering To be honest I got this course as per my rank. Students here in Nit Trichy is just amazing and you get a good exposure, you get something to learn from everyone Faculty : students is 1:10 Many professor are PhD holders from IITs and many reputed colleges We have two semesters per year ,Have different courses in the semester (6) and quizzes and cycle test.
Over 220 companies visit NIT Trichy for placements like Google, Facebook, Sony, Reliance, Amazon, TATA, Volvo, etc. I myself am in the first year so have very little info regarding placements. After I get my B.Tech degree I plan to apply for Masters for doing Research.
The placement of this college is awesome, people from 6 the sem are eligible for placement but generally, placement happens in the 7th sem. Around 200 companies visit for placements, with around 7-800 offers. The highest package goes around 65 lakh .and average around 15. 80% of students get placed. I am going to apply for isro.
I chose this college because its NIRF ranking is 9 (one of the top 10 engineering colleges in india). Job placement is very good in NIT trichy when compared to other colleges i got. I almost worked hard for 2 years to join this college. Since we cant get seat in this college very easily only merit were allowed.
NIT Trichy is one of the best colleges in India for engineering. It performs way better than many IIT's and is at NIRF rank 9 in engineering for the past two years. I had cleared JEE Mains with AIR 10683 in the year 2020. Even though I gave my JEE Advance I couldn't get a mechanical engineering seat in top IIT's hence, I utilized my JEE Mains rank for joining NITT. Mechanical Engineering was in my mind and additionally due to home state quota I got the seat quite comfortably in the JOSAA counselling. While the pandemic affected all sectors, I feel many of my peers including myself lost interest in studying as exam dates were continuously delayed and extended. This was the reason I couldn't score enough in JEE Advance. I contacted a few seniors and various websites such as collegedunia.com and siksha.com for the reviews of NITT before JOSAA started. One of the most discussed thing on the internet was that sometimes few professors were not up to the mark. This made me think about my decision for sometime but I realized that self study is more important in college life. The alumni network of NITT is vast with some big names such as Mr. Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Mr. K.R. Sridhar, Mr. Palanivel Thiagarajan, etc. Moreover, the club culture in NITT is exceptional where we get to learn and reciprocate granting us excellent exposure. I can assure the quality of clubs since I'm a part of a few clubs myself and it was very interesting even though things were online. While its undeniable that IIT's are in the top, NITT is not far behind, and its definitely worth it if you had to choose between course and college.
NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.
The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.
Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!
B.Tech EEE is the most hectic course offered by NIT Trichy.
As a B.Tech EEE student, you’ll have classes and labs all day long. The faculty is experienced. Most of them are friendly and supportive, but you can only rely on self-study. You’ll have some of the brightest students as your peers. Try to befriend some of them as they will help you a lot in studies.
NIT Trichy is comparable to some of the old IITs, in terms of placements. Almost all the students of B.Tech EEE are successfully placed each year, and some of them even bag multiple offers. Those who don’t sit for placements, opt for higher studies in prestigious Indian and foreign universities.
NIT Trichy will offer you an awesome campus culture, and lifelong memories. Its EEE branch is hectic, but rewarding at the same time.
I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.
All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).
Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.
