Established in 2013, the Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli (IIITT), popularly known as IIIT Trichy, is a National Institute sponsored entirely by the Govt. of India, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, and industry partners. I applied for jee mains entrance exam in intermediate 2nd year. The eligibility of the course is 75% in board exams. The application form can be found in josaa website, application fee will be under 400. Reservation people will get benifits according to percentile. The admission process is in clear way no changes are needed.

IIIT gave me the with best increased exposure from the best PhD professors and experts in the field. My college placement offered me an annual compensation of INR 8 lakhs. The professors and the instruction they provide are outstanding. The college is highly soothing and provides a stress-free atmosphere. I was able to use my secret sporting potential as well as my skills as an IT specialist.

IIIT Trichy Abdul Kalam boys Hall of residence and Infosys Foundation Girls Hostel are spacious and air ventillated 3 storey buildings. Each can accomodate 370 students. The hostels are fully equipped with Lift facility, 24/7 purified water and electricity. Each room is equipped with two lan ports and a high speed wifi facility. Sports facilities are also available for students.
The students may undergo internship from research labs CSIO - CSIR, CECRI – CSIR, IGCAR, and industries such as Navitas (TAKE Solutions), Compegence, Sanspareil, Infomak, Zod, etc. The students and faculty are encouraged to publish research papers in International Journals, International Conferences, and National Conferences.
Yes, 100% fee waivers are provided by the institute for the scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and physical disable students. A 100% fee waiver is not given to the general category students.
