Faculty is very friendly. They are hard working . We can visit them any time to clear our doubts .
The placements of this college in the previous year were very good.

Dislikes

Lot of restrictions on girls . They can stay till 9:45 PM outside the hostel .
Hostels are not upto the mark . WIFI don't work properly .

Admission:

The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . The NIMCET exam is conducted in June and form filling date is tilll April of every year. Form fees for NIMCET is 2,500 for general and OBC. The syllabus for NIMCET is similar to JEE . The eligibility for NIMCET can be checked on official website .

Seperate department for MCA. Many other NITs offering mca course doesn't have their own department
Lots of opportunities within the department itself other than fests that are organised on institute level

Too outside of the main city so we have to travel 15-20 km if we want to go to the main city
Timing restrictions for girls. Girls are not allowed after 9:45 pm

The admission in mca course in NITT is done through NIMCET. There are 115 seats in the college for MCA. General seats in the college are 45 so for general people rank upto 50 can secure you a seat in NIMCET. The eligibility and reservation are thoroughly mentioned on the NIMCET website. The NIMCET paper usually happens in June and the forn is opened in March end. The application fees is 1000

Weather : the climate in tiruchirapalli can be hot and humid for significance part of the year , which may be uncomfortable for not South Indian
Limited industry exposure: Despite strong placement records, some students might feel that there is a need for more exposure to industry and internships to better prepare them for corporate world

If you're trying for UG program,then you will have go through jee mains exam, after passing 12th with more than 75 percent, You can find jee mains details on NTA offical site , which is now conducting twice in a year, and exam level is moderate

The faculty is very much experienced in teaching. They teach every course with the great passion.
The campus and overall sporting facilities are very good compared to other colleges.

The language barrier in the state due to which you are not prefared for the higher positions in fest teams.
The mess food is not good its just up to mark.

The entrance exam I have given is jee and the admission process is through JOSAA counseling. The cutoff for my department is around 6000 rank for other state general males and this cutoff is getting increased day by day

One thing I like about NIT Trichy is the students and faculty. Students come from all over the country to study here
Second is the campus , it is very beautiful

The campus is very far away from the city
The hot weather and extreme conditions during summer

admission process is done through josaa councelling and it is a very long process . You have to give jee mains and if you are from general then get above 99 percentile . and after that you get in national institute of technology

All you need to know about Nit Trichy.

The size of campus is too big. Campus includes various shops like lassi shop, coke station, tea stalls, 2k market and much more.
The fests are amazing. many celebrities, entrepreneur and allumni came in fests.

The hostels are a bit old and they don't renovate the hostels properly.

To take addmission in nit trichy civil branch - minimum percentile in jee mains is 98 percentile for other state general category student. My percentile in jee mains was 98.18 percentile. There is home State quota so 50% of seats will be reserved for tamil nadu Students.

The campus is pretty huge and you need to get everywhere by cycling.
You get to mingle with like-minded people from all over India.

The mess food isn't great, but it's better than in most places.

The admission process involved passing a certain cutoff. The cutoff varies for different departments. You cam=n check each years cutoffs on the official websites. After that there a couple of forms that need to be filled.

I love the campus and infrastructure, NIT trichy has a lush green campus. The department buildings and the classess are really well maintained
The college provides internship and placement opportunities on campus and have a separate department of training and placement cell.

The temperature during summer is too much.
The college is too big it is very exhausting to travel from one building to other

The admission is on the basis of JEE mains score you are required to score min 95+%tile in the entrance and then you can apply for this college through jossa and Csab councelling and then further physical document are verified and you can get addmission.

My experience

I like to explore the campus here so many places are there Library,octagon,etc where we can learn a lot of thinkgs
And here education is also good professors are highly qualified

Hostel facilities are good but hostel room is okay not excellent
Girls should not go out after 9pm it is not fair we too wanna enjoy the late nights

To study in nitt we should qualify jee mains exam atleast we should get 240/300 for getting top branch in nitt.we can find all the application process in the website nitt trichy all fee details and fee structure academic plan etc

NITT campus life

Sports fest, cultural fests and tech fest and symposium are too good.

Mess food is not that great and needs an improvement
Curfew for girls after 9:15 is being difficult in emergency situations

When I was admitted it was online but now you need to report offline and submit all the relevant documents. We need to take jee mains entrance exam and needs to get a minimum percentile based on the reservation you have.
