Course Curriculum Overview:
Actually my dream is to become a good engineer.The study timings in our campus was little bit very difficult.it finds difficult to manage studies along with extra curriculum activities.proper management of time should be required.

- I dislike that many people here always study and there is lot of peer pressure.

Placement Experience:
Campus placements start in the ending of first semister of fourth year for the 4-year undergraduate students. Campus placements happen every year in december for passing out students. Around 450+ companies visit for placements. The highest package was 1.3 crore per annum and average is around 19 lakhs per annum. Almost around 55% of students get placed and many people go for higher studies or go after chasing their passion or building their start ups. I wanted to work in the software industry after my graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:
the computer science curriculum at IIT madras is comprehensive ,blending foundational theory with modern applications,its highly relevant , equipping students with industry ready skills and innovative reasearch perspectives. faculty is qualified and also teach well.

- I like our Biotechnology department very much because the it is designed very well.
- The campus greenary steels everybodys heart.

- Some times the weather conditions can put the students in risk
- More no of infrastructure redesigning can be done to lot of departments.
Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for the campus placements from the 7Th semester. Companies like Biogen, Genentech, and Novo Nordisk visit. As of now the placements are good for the biotechnology department. Incase the student did not get placed in campus, there so many chances that they can search for off campus placements.

- The professor are very knowledgeable if not very good at teaching. One can learn very much from there professors.
- The college administration treats you as if you're adult. You are free to leave campus/hostel whenever you want.
Dislikes
- 75% criteria is a thing that sometimes create problems.
Placement Experience:
After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement.you can look up at the official placement reports for exact numbers but mostly 80-90% of the batch gets placed. Highest package is 3.67crores and average is at 22lakhs per annum.

- The diverse community inside a small forest in the middle of the city

- The hostel and mess system being unfair in some ways
- The politics inside the institutes elections

Placements are usually really good in our college. So many people competing to join our college is usually for this reason. but for this last year, because of the economy, the placements wasn't that good. the highest package is around a crore. around 50 percent of students get placements usually but not last year

- Wildlife in the campus. Deers and cats are the best part of the campus.

The institute has seen 50%+ placements this year. The average package is 40lpa and the highest is 1.4 crores. Many students opt to pursue higher education or research after completing their courses at the institute

The placements are very well taken care by the institute. Students sit for placements after 7th semester and before 8th semester. There is a student body from every department which takes care of students from their department.

- Technical and cultural Fest which are held in institute.
- Our campus is surrounded with forest area, but it is good in mornings we can feel fresh air.
Dislikes
- As it is forest area monkeys will be disturbing us.
- As Im living in chennai the climate is too hot so this afternoon classes will be boring

placements are in 7th sem for btect students and 9th sem for dualdegree . offers will bw made after seeing over exam results for placement exams and resume we submit in that companies. More than 75 percentage people can get placed.

The course curriculum in IIT madras is not too complicated, every branch here is unique and are mostly irrelevant to other. I personally chose civil engineering because I was very intrested in construction of things.

It is a full-time degree or diploma and so it will have more value than online. But if we compare IIT Madras’ online degree or diploma with any other college’s then it is better.
The duration of the course is 3 years. The mode of training is online, the lectures are mostly recorded and partly live sessions.
Whether the course will be good or not that depends on what subject you are planning to pursue. If you opt for a subject related to technology, then it is not a good option. This is because technology cannot be learned through books or audiovisual. It requires you to be present in the field to gain experience and knowledge.
What is your review of IIT Madras data science program?
The online Data Science program at IIT Madras is a great opportunity for someone who can not attend regular college because of financial constraints, illness, or other reasons. The online BS in Data Science and Application allows students to gain knowledge of this field from one of the most reputed engineering colleges in India.
