"A Journey of Learning, Growth and Social vibes"

I have very particular keen intrest in aerospace which had driven me to choose this course for my undergrad 1:10 which is one of the best in the entire Bharat country, being a NIRF rank 1 college. The faculty here are super highly qualifies, and their teaching methods are highly interactive, student-friendly, and knowledge through doubts. The term exams here are almost 1-1 & half months. And they were quite moderate to people who do a regular and decent study. These exams actually test student' ability to think and their application mentality, rather than rote learning and marks mentality.

If your family income is below 100000 you don't have to pay any tution fee. If you family income is between 100000 and 4.5 lakhs you have to pay 33000 fee. If family income greater than 4.5lakh then you have to pay 1 lakh tution fee. The fee above mentioned is per semester. There are various scholarships available but again you don't need them if you have low family income as your tution fee is anyway waived. There are few campus works you can take after 2nd year such as research fellow, Teaching assistant work,etc. You will be paid around 12000 per month for TAship and research fellowships l.

The RAW HONEST GENUINE REVIEW of so called NIRF 1 IIT Madras

Here the fees are actually based on two conditions, 1) Which category you are in and 2) how much is your family income. The tuition fee varies over 0-2Lakh/annum based on your 2 conditions. The hostel fee is fixed which is 0.7L/annum. Here there are innumerable scholarships available for worthy and talented students, which make their education journey money hassle-free. I got a campus scholarship and one alumni scholarship.

We have around 1,00,000 per semester tution fees and around 35,000 for hostel and mess fees. We can apply for mcm scolarships. There is no hike policy or none that i know of.we can do some part time invigilating during placements and we get paid by that.

IIT MADRAS , A great educational hub

In this Covid situation, fees are given in three installments. As of category basis, fees structures are different and has refundable fees. Scholarships are given by merit and also category wise. A great financial support are there. College is quite feasible. Job opportunity are given in campus interview. Lots of companies are visited from 2nd year onwards. College has a great education structure with reliable faculty members.

The fee is very high, almost unaffordable if you're from the general or OBC category. You might have to take up an educational loan. But it is much cheaper than private colleges of the same calibre. I won't recommend you to let go of the opportunity to come here purely on financial constraints. There are good low-interest loans available but most of the scholarships are targeted towards non-general and female students. The whole degree will cost you upwards of 10 lakhs. There are virtually no financial constraints for those with SC, ST, or EWS category.

The cost to study my program was seventy six thousand for a year. The mode of payment is on installment basis which needs to paid yearly. It is a course of four years and during the time of admission the fees that are included are tuition fees, registration fees, exam fees and other charges are included in the fees.

a) SC/ST/PwD students are exempted from payment of tuition fee irrespective of their parental income.
b) GE, OBC-NCL, EWS students whose family income is less than Rs.1 lakh per annum shall get full remission of the Tuition fee.
c) GE, OBC-NCL, EWS students whose family income is less than Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakhs per annum shall get remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee.
d) All the students shall have access to interest free loan under Vidyalaxmi scheme for the total portion of the tuition fee payable
Dual Degree students have to pay B.Tech. fees for the first 8 semesters and M.Tech. fees for 9th & 10th semesters
For SC/ST students with scholarships, the advanced dining charges will be claimed from the Scholarship section. Advanced Dining charges and Student Medical Insurance Premium are subject to change depending on the tender.
