Actually my dream is to become a good engineer. The study timings in our campus was little bit very difficult.it finds difficult to manage studies along with extra curriculum activities.proper management of time should be required.

I love doing coding and logical thinking. I love to solve questions which keeps our brain to think out of box. So this is the reason I chose computer science department. The curriculum prepares us well by conducting labs and making us think critically and also we do projects, which helps us to have real world experience. It think we also have some unnecessary courses here, which must be changed with the time and the evolution of technology. The frequency of exams are , 2 quizes and 1 endsem per semister and we may have some tutorials (mini-tests) based on professors choices.

I would rate the course curriculum to be 8 out of 10. The relevance and comprehensiveness is quite good but the way it is taught and evaluation processes are not so good. Few professors give very easy grading whereas few professors give very low grades even after scoring good and doing alot of hardwork (sometimes because of relative grading). Learning skills to be able to be prepared for real life experiences varies widely from branch to branch like people from CSE get to learn alot of expertise and skills to solve real life problems but for other branches it is not so good because often people don't seem to be intrested in their course and try going for non core (software) placements.

My faculty members are wonderful they are like parents to us here on campus they care they scold us and they teach us well. At last, they are good and they teach us well but it will some problems for us to understand because of some toppers in our class but nothing happens because they will upload slides of the class what they took in the morning so we are good with them and they also

CSE and related courses are emerging technology so I choose them. 1:10 is the ratio of Faculty: students. Most of the Faculty have done their PhD's and they have a good research background. Exams were conducted once a month. Most of the time the exams are not so tough.

I choose CSE because I was interested in Artificial intelligence. Rather than choosing the AI department in some colleges, I choose CSE at IIT Madras because it covers all aspects of computer science. The faculty-student ratio is good you would have a prof for every 60 students in a class. The teachers are highly qualified but there are some stupid teachers with stupid grading. You can easily pass the exam even if you study the night before.

Institute regularly update curriculam to incorporate latest developments in respective fields the specific curriculam can be obtained in website.IIT Madras have highly qualified and experienced faculty who are experts in their respective fields.
The professors are very knowledgeable and inform the concept well. The student-faculty ratio is about 60 and there is a faculty review meeting every month and they take it very seriously. Exams are tough.
I chose cse because I like programming. Faculty: student ratio is 1:6. All faculty are Ph.D. holders from famous universities all over the world. Exams are of moderate difficulty and are easy with good preparation.
