Both IIT Madras Civil and BITS Hyderabad CSE are great subject options to pursue for students.

IIT Madras is one of the top-ranking academic institutions in India ranking 1st in Engineering in the NIRF ranking.
The Civil Engineering Department of IIT Madras is known for offering excellent academic curriculums and research facilities to the students.
The average course fee for pursuing a Civil Engineering from IIT Madras is around INR 2.14 LPA for the first year and the total hostel fee is around INR 35000.
IIT Madras Civil Department offers excellent placement opportunities to the students.
The highest package is of INR 1CPA and the average package is INR 25 LPA.

Both the options you have chosen here are equally good but IIT Madras is one of the 7 old IITs and is a well-reputed institute. If you are not looking to join a particular branch, my suggestion would be to go with IIT Madras. The placement statistics are great and overall, you will also get exposure to good faculty.

If you are looking to join Computer Science, you can think of going to BITS Hyderabad, but you should know that there is an increase in fees every year. This increase will be around 10-15%. The field of CSE will always ensure that you get a good placement package. But, for this, you need to ensure that you have good programming skills. It will get better over the years.

You should go ahead with IIT as this will provide good chances for you to get into core industries. If this is not your plan, you can think of pursuing Master’s in Management. The entrepreneurial culture is also quite l promoted at old IITs.
