Exam schedule is given way before the exams so there is no confusion and difficulty is moderate and will require 1 day efforts. Also the overall course difficulty is lower compared to branches like mechanical, electrical etc
I am pursuing a BS in ECONOMICS from IIT BOMBAY. Talking about the course, it's much more interesting and I think I was more interested towards how money works, the share market etc. so I found this course interesting and I joined here. Faculties at IIT BOMBAY are all PhD holders and teach very well. Also about the student-faculty ratio, it is 15:1. Exams are quite hard but since courses are much more practically oriented every student here enjoys the academic part
For poor people fee structure is not feasible If he is not getting a scholarship then it is quite expensive. But it is quite some low then private colleges of India as it is a government college, Students have to pay 1 lac for tuition fee per semester
The fee structure is quite expensive but the authority provides help to the deservedly guy. There is an MCM scholarship that is given to needy guys. And lots of alumni will also fund for students well fare So for poor people, it is affordable
