- I like the place where it is situated it is between the hills and the view from here is very beautiful.
- 10 dispose facility in the campus very very good you can find this separate ground for every sports and and coaches are very good

- We have to travel by bus from mandi to reach campus which is tedious.

- Food. the food in the mess is awesome.they got a pretty balanced diet ,which includes both vegeterian and non vegetarian food.there is no restriction for the amount of food that we can eat.the timings in mess is also pretty flexible.
- Hostel.the hostel we statu is a 1bhk apartment ,it has also the basic facilities included.we have got a microwave oven,iron box and geysers too.the security guards are really friendly here.there is no time limit here.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Semester-end exams are there but along with that presentations, and quizzes are also different modes of evaluation. i would suggest inviting more guest faculty from other renowned institutions and those who are experts in the industry to iit mandi.

I rate the course curriculum highly for its practical approach and emphasis on real-world skills through projects and internships. However, more industry collaborations would enhance its relevance further. Improvements could include updating the curriculum regularly and incorporating cutting-edge technologies. Exams are well-timed but could be more challenging to deepen understanding.

- The campus of IIT Mandi is located in the scenic himalayan region, providing a very calm and soothing environment and also the campus is known for its excellent academic programs
- The campus provides you a separate work space called as catalyst if you want to work on your startup or collab with different brands/companies

- The students of IIT Mandi find the remote location of the campus a drawback in terms of accessibilty, amenities and facilities available around the campus
- Being a relatively new IIT and considering its remote location, the infrastructure at IIT-mandi is lacking behind compared to other same generation or older IITs
Placement Experience:
The placements are provided by college on campus, students in btech 4th year and mtech 2nd year are eligible for campus placements. In the current year placements are not so good due to recession Some of the top MNCs like google, amazon, microsoft, adobe and many more visit the campus for placements every year, I dont have access to exact placement records, but the placement percentage last year was around 95-100%, but this year its very less around 50-60% currently. This years highest package is 1.25 crore this year and the average is yet to be disclosed, last year the average was around 25 LPA and almost all of the students got placed. If I get a good offer for placements then I will go for it, if not then I will pursue further studies in masters.

The course curriculum is good as expected from an IIT. We have courses in every department and can pursue many academic courses according to your interests. AIl courses are also available in the college.

Iit mandi has campus placement avg placement is decent in cse 98% u will placed from iit mandi last year 204+ company are visited in iit mandi during placement iit mandi provid placement to each student this year iit mandi placed well

- Distance from mandi city to IIT is 20 kms and you will be provided campus buses also

Placement here are going okayish not so great and not so bad and last year one of our super senior got a package of 60 LPA and median is around 21LPA ,as our IIT is still a developing IIT we need to wait some more years to get some whooping crores and many guys in my batch are willing to go for higher studies

if you are talking about placements stats in iit mandi is 60 lpa and compared to other iits we are little bit low but its okay and average pakage here is 21 lpa and like 90 % students attending interviews will definitely get selected through their skill in studies

- The campus is divided into parts which make it difficult for us to travel from one campus to other for a small work
- Professors here takes the academics very seriously and you have to maintain your 80% in every course which make it difficult for the student who won to do side hustle.
Placement Experience:
This placement is approx 25 lpa . Placement is very much decent companies like Amazon Flipkart Google Microsoft comes for placement and offers decent. Approx 200 to 250 offers offered by the companies to the student highest package for the last year is 65 lpa for software engineer. Approx 80% of the students gets their job in placement.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligilbe for the placements after the completion of 2nd semester. Since the course started in 2022, the first batch is yet to graduate and official placement records have not been released. However, some offers from Japan have been made. In India, students have been offered PPO from MaxLife and Yum Brands. Some other companies that came for placement are Axtria and FIITJEE.

What is your review of Faculty Of IIT Mandi?
I have gone through the faculty profile given on the official website of IIT Mandi. It looks similar to that of all newly established IITs, except for IIT Gn and IIT H, which are better than the others.
One of my friends is also a student of the Mechanical branch at IIT Mandi. Most of the faculty members in the Mechanical branch are married couples. One of them got a job here and after that, they recommended their spouses.
In terms of research, the branch is not that good. Most of the faculties just mug up a research paper and publish a new one. One of the faculties became associate by doing the same. If you want to pursue higher studies in Mechanical, then don’t choose IIT Mandi.
