I like the place where it is situated it is between the hills and the view from here is very beautiful. Also
Also the seniors here are very friendly they help a lot in your academics in any situation.

The campus is divided into parts which make it difficult for us to travel from one campus to other for a small work
Professors here takes the academics very seriously and you have to maintain your 80% in every course which make it difficult for the student who won to do side hustle.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In the 1st year all students taught the almost similar subject in the second and afterwards college taught you the course related to your branch curriculum over here is very strict you have to maintain 80% in each courses to attempt and semester exam. Talk about the exam pattern there are two exams conducted in our college first one is mid semester and the other one is end semester. Courses you you taught here are essential for your future jobs. Therefore academics much focused here.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience :

This placement is approx 25 lpa . Placement is very much decent companies like Amazon Flipkart Google Microsoft comes for placement and offers decent. Approx 200 to 250 offers offered by the companies to the student highest package for the last year is 65 lpa for software engineer. Approx 80% of the students gets their job in placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees depend on your family income if your family is income is above 5 lakh per annum you have to pay whole fees but if you are family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh you have to pay almost 50% of your fees but if you are family income is less than 1 lakh you no need to pay your tuition fees but you have to pay your hostel and mess fees. The total fees of one semester is approx 1.5 lakhs includes your tuition fees and mess and hostel fees without concession. College provides many scholarship programs like NSP which helps student to pay their fees.

Campus Life :

College has a lot of clubs which organisation many events regularly which also includes technical events approx to technical events happens in every month . Two libraries in our campus where you can get academics related books there is also a shop over here where you can get nobels if you are interested. All the classrooms have projectors which makes it smart classroom. Campus has all the grounds of all the sports you want to play it also offers personalized trainers that will help you to improve your playing skills.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are compulsory here. Taking admission you have to live in the hostels which is not much expensive. Hostels are not very large like other iits 25 to 30 rooms in each floor . The bathroom has geysers for the winters and also bathrooms are very clean and hygienic. Talk about mess food it is good. It provides different food every day. Menu has both th options for veg and non veg.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

I gave the JEE to take admission which h conducted in two phases first is mains those who qualifies mains gives the advance I got decent rank in both the exams and I have benefit of obc which also helped me. Mains is not much tough but advance requires deep understanding and alot of practice.

NIT Hamirpur Review

Placement Experience:

The college provides a quite decent placement. This year highest package was 2 Cr and previous year highest package was 1.73 Cr . More than 40 companies visited.Top recruiters were Samsung ,CRED, Syska,Croma,Oracle , Accenture etc. More than 80 percent students get placed and after my degree I am also thinking of getting placed .

Like from the the 7th semester we are eligible to sit in placement process. Companies like vegazva, khanna paper mill, shree cement etc. companies visited in campus. A realistic experience at NIT Hamirpur

Campus placement is now going to boost In JNGEC from the last 4 years. Students are eligible from the last year of their graduation for the placement.
