Flexible curriculum. All courses are aligned in the right sequence on the basis of learning and also flexibility to drop the courses according to workload. Courses cover all the major domains that are required for the degree

Our curriculum is way better when compared to other technological institutions in India. We have the liberty to choose the courses we like from the start of the 4 year BTech journey. One can get a minor in Business Management while completing his 4 year BTech course, the option of pursuing minor is not limited to business management, you can as well as get a minor in Cognitive Science, Math, Physics, Chemistry etc. One can also get two bachelors degrees from two different branches also(if his/her CPI permits)

I chose EE on my second year, by changing my branch from Materials science engineering. The EE and Mech course are the two course for which the no of credits to complete is higher than other courses. It is a course which requires continous hardwork, if you miss a lecture then better be prepared to allocate the time required to understand the missed topics or else it will go down bad!

The curriculum is kind of the same in all IITs so I don't think it a matter of doubt. But the effectiveness is rather a question of interest as we are made to study common concepts like physics, chemistry and mathematics in our first year of study which is not what one expects after clearing JEE advanced. The difficulty of the examination depends on the proffs who sets the question paper, but on an average it is difficult. We follow two exam policy which comprises of mid-semester and end-semester exams.

In the 1st year there are 16 courses in two semester, each semester has 8 courses at the end of we 1st year we get 62-63 credits. upto final year this curriculum is two distinct but compatible parts called Institute level curriculum and Discipline specific curriculum. This curriculum prepare you for real-world applications In every year has two semester and each semester has two exams (midsem and endsem) and the paper of the exams are easy to moderate and also exam level is depends on professor of the course.

The curriculum at iit gandhinagar is very flexible and allows you to choose any course of your choice. Last year we had 3 exam system but it changed to 2 exam system on student demand. There are many project courses available.

My course was decided based on my rank. The curriculum is good and relevant to the real world, but there are many irrelevant courses. Good attention and efforts are taken for student's understanding. But the overall expeirence depends on the professor. There are two exams per semester.

The elcetrical engineering courses curriculum at IIT Gn us generally regarded as comprehensive and relevant. The inclusion of the core subjects like circuit theory, electrinics, power system, control system and signal processing aligns well with industry requirements.
The curriculum of the program is very flexible and the B.Tech is the flagship course of the college. We have full freedom to take extra courses if we want as per our interest. The curriculum of the program completely gives us an insight into the complete engineering process and help us to understand each and every engineering concept in every minor detail as possible. The faculty plays a very important role in the curriculum as their teaching methods are very good and simple. Their methods are a combination of traditional and modern teaching techniques mean they also teach us through lectures, presentation, simulation activity and many more. The faculty are not only of PhD level but they have great industrial and research work experience and they regularly share their experience with us.
IIT Gandhinagar is a better choice for Electrical Engineering than choosing BITS Pilani for Electrical and Electronics.
Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, or as we would call it often - IIIT GN is pretty decent. The research activities revolve around Electrical and Electronics teaching. Even today in 2021, the department still happens to offer a degree in B.Tech, M.Tech, and even Ph.D.

Whatever you grasp via the course should be authentic and is ensured by the department. You are required to focus upon laboratory components, projects, and internships. Not just experienced, but the department also comprises a team of young faculty too who are equally dedicated and dynamic.
Keeping research and teaching aside, faculties would also be seen engaging themselves in organizing various events which are camps, workshops, and constant campus visits so that the environment carries on a conducive environment that helps the students learn better.
No, as choosing IIT Gandhinagar CSE over electrical in IIT Kanpur is a good choice.
