- The hostels are well maintained, neat and clean. each floor has a pantry equipped with an induction stove, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a water cooler.
- The sports facilites at IITGN are world-class. The sports facilities includes all indoor and outdoor sports. It also jhas an Olympic-sized aswimming pool.
Dislikes
- Mathematics faculty at IITGN is truly remarkable. They are not only experts in their field but also passionate about teaching and helping students grow But No. of mathematics professor is 12 which is less.
- Fests that are organized are comparitively less than old IITs.
Campus Life:
The academic block buildings are beautiful and modern all close classrooms are equipped with projectors or smart boards and are fully air conditioned Wi-Fi is available across the entire campus campus. there are 12 hostels in IIT GN. the hostels are well maintained, neat and clean each floor has a pantry equipped with an induction stove, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a water cooler. in the six new hostels Wi-Fi is available in each room while in old hostels Wi-Fi is available in corridor but still provide good Internet connectivity Additionally every room in all hostels are air conditioned. IITGN has 2 libraries one is mini library which is located in hostel area and is open 24/7. andx second is main library, which is locatede in academic blocks, there is a vast collection of books for all age groups. And on every table, there is electric switch for charging laptops and phones, and there are group study rooms. The main fests organised here are Blithchron(cultural and trechnical) ,Hackathon (tech-fest), Sankalp(Social Awareness fest) and Hallabol (sports fest). And Amalthea is India's first student run Annual technical summit.
Likes
- The Sports Complex is a major highlight of IIT Gandhinagar.
- The Campus Amenities are top notch and it is a fully green Campus.
Dislikes
- The Course Load is very High and you will get very less free Time.
- The Exams are quite challenging and you have to keep thinking out of the box.
Campus Life:
Annual Technical Summit named Amalthea is held in November. Annual Cultural Festival named Blithchron is held in January. Over 5 Crores is spent by the library on books every year. Reference Books are easily available and plenty in number. All the Classrooms have latest technologies such as a Digital Whiteboard, Computer, Projector , etc. Every Sport you can think of is available here in IIT Gandhinagar in our Olympic Level Sports Complex. Many Student Run Clubs such as Abhinaya(Drama Club), Sargam(Singing), Step Up(Dance), etc are there. The Full list is present on IIT Gandhinagar's website.
Likes
- I like the hostels and the campus its very green and clean
- the friend circle, all of them are very different and creative as they belong to different part of India hence networking
Dislikes
- as the batch intake is very less there is not very club culture over here
- alumni network is also not that strong as the number of pass out is very less
Campus Life:
infrastructure is top notch, there are many clubs but not very happening to less number of crowd, campus life is great all the students need to stay in campus hostels hence it increase the bonding and also the night life here is happening almost you could find people roaming till 3 am, 1 anual tech fest and 1 cultural fest and apart from them there are many small events happening through out the year

- The quality of education and experience you gain from your professors is amazing.
- The sports activities and other cultural fests are very enthusiastic.
Dislikes
- The workload or course curriculam is slightly higher in core fields.
Campus Life:
There is one major sports event named Hallabol in which several sports were played. There is Inter-IIT's competition of several indoor and outdoor games in which you can participate. The infrastructure of the college is very good. There are newly built sports complex with swimming pool, AC hostel rooms and advanced equipment laboratories.
Likes
- Hostels with AC and in the 1st and second year thare are 3 shearing room but in second year we can choose our roommates
- Mess food is. Also very good but south indian may faced issues with that becouse there are not dedicated South Indian food just 1 to 2 times in a week
Dislikes
- In academic college needs to improve strictness
- Very long vacation 3months summer and 1 month winter
Campus Life:
Campus Life is pretty good but with that we don't able to focus on studies is you want good cpi then you have to study. All sports facilities are there classroom and all are fantastic. Had good social media activness and fan base we had very big library with facility needs a id card for issuing book
Likes
- The sports complex of the campus is brilliant and the facilities the college provides are excellent.
- The academic courses are very flexible and you can easily choose your graduation path.
Dislikes
- The student clubs don’t get much funding in the long run and people don’t participate as much.
Campus Life:
The campus life has been very good overall, till now. There are two main college festivals here- Blithchron, which is the cultural festival and Amalthea, which is technical festival. Amalthea is held in November and Blithchron is held in March. There are a lot of student clubs in which you can participate according to your interest And spend time on your passion. The sports facilities of the college are also excellent and you can play variety of sports.
Likes
- Campus is too good and big. We have enough options for relaxation.
- Mess is too much good. It provides us nice food and different vegetation
Dislikes
- I don't like the position of campus as it is too away from city area
- I don't like that there are only two mess which causes us delay
Campus Life:
The social scene thrives on hostel living, where students form close bonds through late-night chats, shared meals, and participating in events like cultural fests and intra-hostel competitions.These clubs offer opportunities to explore passions, develop new skills, and find a welcoming community.
Likes
- Beautiful infrastructure including hostels, academic area or sport complex. Everything well maintained, organized.
- Liberal campus. People allowed to enter opposite gender's hostels freely
Dislikes
- Difficult to get student funds for cultural fests and activities
- Location of campus is quite off and far from city
Campus Life:
There's been annual techincal fest and cultural fest held at IITGN. Both are typically 2-3 days fests and include large public and activities. There is a large 2 storyed library including large sitting space and huge collection of books. sport complex provided almost all the popular sports' grounds and equipments. multiple clubs
Likes
- Infrastructure is good. Hygiene is taken care of.
- Social Interactions are good. Hostel life is cool.
Campus Life:
Social life here in IIT Gandhinagar is great. You can make a lot of friends and chat over a cup of tea. Multiple hobby clubs are also there. You can participate there as well. The sports facility is really great here. All books are there in college library.
Likes
- Guidance of Seniors, Environment of college is very friendly and helpful.
- College also provide internship opportunities.
Dislikes
- Some humanity courses are mandatory which don't seems much helpful.
- In first year we to study the courses of all the branches which don't related to our domain.
Campus Life:
There are 2 major events Amalthia and Blithcron when celebrities are invited. Also a lot of club like step up, sangam, ted etc. around 33000 book are there in library. Sports activity is compalsary for all first and second year students.
