In IITH most of the professor are friendly and give decent grades by the end of the course. Most of the courses are understandable .In IITH some courses are thought by same professor But don't make your character bad in the view of professors.they will play with you

In Our EE course curriculum is very hard actually. The professors are two strict not even giving exam paper in advanced range. They are giving like 6 months PhD research paper to solve it how our b.tech students can solve that paper. Is okay but the faculty members are not good

With my rank in JEE Advanced I got this course. The faculty at IIT HYDERABAD are very experienced. The faculty:student ratio is around 1:60 or 2:150. All the faculty are done their PhD's in reputed universities.

I am pursuing electrical engineering in IITH, and the course curriculum is very good. People who are willing to take electrical engineering will love the course here. The faculty provided is also amazing.

I'm fond of this course, hence I chose this course. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:15. Faculties are highly qualified and many Ph.D. students work as TAs (teaching assistants). Exams are held monthly once.

I chose this course out of my own interest although I was taking cse course which is the trend. I am very interested in circuits. Faculties are highly qualified and very friendly as well as supportive. We have exams in every segment. It's easy if u have followed the professor and studied.

Electrical engineering in Hyderabad provides a good degree of flexibility and it is comparitively more rigorous than other courses. The faculty is excellent for the most part and the course content is also of good standards even though some improvements can be made. Overall a decent choice if you're interested in the electrical domain
IIT Hyderabad is a new IIT that has been growing at a fast pace and is expected to reach the level of older IITs in no time. Its EE Department is excellent with a good updated curriculum. Unlike older IITs, the courses covered are industry relevant and that’s what sets it apart from the EE department of other IITs.
Its syllabus includes various Electronics as well as Electrical courses. Additionally, it contains Machine Learning, sound processing using Python and R, Internet of Things(IoT), and home automation also.
IIT Hyderabad Campus
The courses are much more advanced in comparison to courses offered in the EE Department of other IITs that just revolve around generators, motors, and outdated heavy machines. The new IITs may lack in other aspects but their curriculum is modern and useful.
Infrastructure-wise, IIT Hyderabad is a bit lacking considering the fact that it's still in the developing phase. The hostels of the new campus are great with radiant cooling systems. However, the campus lacks greenery and much-needed sports facilities.
Although every department of IIT Hyderabad offers top-notch education, it’s the EE department that steals the show. There are many unique aspects of this department that make it one of the most coveted branches of IIT Hyderabad.
Both IIT BHU and IIT Hyderabad are new IITs. However, IIT BHU is an old institute and later on converted to IIT while IITH is newly constructed. Though newly constructed, the growth of IITH has been pretty impressively. According to NIRF ranking, IITH (rank - 7) is far ahead of IIT BHU (rank - 14) which proves that IITH has better infrastructure, faculties, research facilities, outreach, and location.
As of 2019, the opening and closing rank of IITH for Electrical is 808-1868 while in IIT BHU the closing rank was 2054. The IITH has the combined electrical and electronics engineering course which provides students with the knowledge of both the areas as the industry demands and provides opportunities in various areas. In contrast, IIT BHU has a separate electrical engineering course that is dedicated to specific electrical subjects.
Both the IITs hold good placement records. In 2019 a total of 88 students were placed from EE in IIT BHU. The offers were ranged between 10 LPA to 58.21 LPA. Whereas, the placement statistics for the EE department in IITH suggest there was 73.17% placement with a median salary of 15.23 LPA.
IITH has signed MoUs with renowned Japanese colleges, so there is a huge trend of going to further studies in Japan. Unlike IITH, IIT BHU, being an old college, has a strong alumni network, and there are many alumni at high positions in the organization. Both these institutions have their perks for a EE degree, so choose according to your convenience.
I don’t think you should even consider joining IIT Hyderabad EE when you have the option of IIIT Hyderabad CSE given the fact that it’s the 2nd best in India after IIT Bombay CSE. The course is very challenging and IIIT Hyderabad does not have a lively atmosphere like IITs. Rather, the entire focus is on CS courses and research work. Although the campus is very small and lacks any extracurricular facilities, it’s heaven for coders. The academic workload is terrible with intense competition among peers.
Overall, both are excellent choices, and it’s only a matter of preference. Go for IIIT if you are certain of CS and go for IIT if you aren’t sure of your inclinations. Either way, you will not be disappointed.
