The curriculum here is more flexible compared to other colleges, so that we can learn anything that we want in addition to what they provide. The exams they keep and the assignments they give us will make us to get exposure to many different different real world problems. The frequency and the timings of the exams are like they will be not too hectic at the end of semester they will be spread out throughout the semester so that we won't feel stressed at any time.

First year courses are same for all branches which involves having basic knowledge all should have on chemistry and physics. Our first semester also gives intro to programming by introducing C language. Due to same courses we interacted with fellow branch students Then our core courses starts from next semester. Second sem involves core courses and pre requisite courses such as probability etc. Next one of the main course DSA , computer architecture etc are in the third sem. As a student from AI departments 4th sem onwards machine learning took an important role of almost 10 credits. Then there are some free eletives in AI department. There are LA courses which enhances cultural, social, ethical, technological, moral based knowledge. This part also has learning other languages such as Japanese etc. There CA courses which involves singing, dancing, drawing, etc. Overall curriculam involves all kinds of subjects with small diversion from core subjects.

The courses provided here specifically talking about civil engineering branch are the courses that are taught almost all over the engineering institutes . We are exposed to labs and practicals in the respective branches from the first year itself, which is handy for real life. Here fractal system is into practice which makes it very easy for the students to cope up with the semester exams. What is a fractal system you can search about in the Google. I think more labs and practicals must be introduced because it makes the understanding of the subject much better , which will benefit us in future. Also, frequency of the exams is medium, which can be handled by every kind of students and the timings of the exams are flexible, which helps a lot.

The curriculum is well designed. In the 1st semester, there will be continuation courses to the course in 10+2. And in further semester, we will be able to know regarding the machine learning, Deep learning and neural networks,etc.. related to Artificial Intelligence. But there won't be any labs for us. I suggest to keep some sessions and give the equipment regarding the concepts taught in the course

Curriculum is kinda updated. And every branch students get to learn basic coding. Academic system is slightly different at IITH compared to other colleges. Chemical Engineering is good at IITH. Like in all the IITs, IITH has one of the best chemical engineering branch. The cutoff was slightly below mechanical so it's easier to get chemical at IITH compared to chemical and electrical. each semester here is divided into 3 segments. We have courses for each segment and exams are generally held at the end of each segment. We get grading based on these exams quizzes conducted by professor and some professors give marks for attendance also.

Civil Engineering is an Ever green cource. If you have patience ,you can earn huge after certain period of time.It is also a practical job.IITH have many labs which helps us to understand concept in depth. We have many further academic purcuits like Mtech,Phd etc.We have fractal academics. So some percentage of marks are awared to surprise quizes which makes student to keep an eye on course frequently.

Actually its pretty good, all of the professors knows what a Grad student want, and would exactly deliver what will be useful to them, so in IITH we have Fractal system- which is one semester is divided in to 6 segments, so for every two segments you can choose courses, and its not like just mid and end exams, you will be connected to the subject whole semester, and its quiet easy this way, than just study before the exam, this was you can actually learn, so we have exams for every 2 segments In my branch, which is Material science and metallurgical engineering, we have labs included with courses, so many hands-on experience, if you want to persue career in core, these would really help, also you could work under/with a professer in your interested area Curriculum is cool, every day maximum i will be having 3 courses that's it. Difficulty level would completely depend on professor and course system, though its relative grading maximum times so you're fine

The cirriculum is very good here.We are being prepared well to get our internships and placements in decent good packages. There are some things that courses are been splitted into two parts where these taught in different semesters,so there is a chance of forgetting things.Overall it is good

So my course is Engineering Physics. It is nice If you want to pursue higher studies in physics than it is one of the best course in pur college. Most faculties are supportive and nice in our department. But if you wanna go for placements then this branch is not too good . Curriculum bise it is easy to moderate .
