Iith provides you teaching from the best teachers who are well qualified.
Students in our college gets internship opportunities in their third year.if they performed well in their internship,the company provides preplacement offers before completing their engineering.many best companies like google, microsoft, wipro, tcs, etc come to our college to hire students.
Hostels are great here, there are groups of 6 or 8 rooms forming one pod which helps in mingling better with other students.

Dislikes

I disliked the professor very much, the are very bad in teaching
Sometimes the faculty of my department (mathematics) were hard to deal with.
The professors are two strict not even giving exam paper in advanced range.

I like college atmosphere at nights they are very good
They are many good people for learning many things in campous
Infrastructure was awesome. Our curriculum was so good we have plenty of time to learn things. We have good faculity

Dislikes

The things i dont like some times we get powercuts
Jio sim users did get net properly, We get anger sometimes for that issue.
The people in iith they didnt attend for fest. The ratio was 3:1 for boys and girls

I love chemical subject so i choose chemical dept. we have javaa , python, basic coding in every year. If there is any improvements i would take i remove all maths courses and add some chemical lab courses. Its like 50to 60% our course curriculam for real world. We have exams like month wise or after completing the course. The difficulty depends on prof max paper was moderate

Academics,Campus and More : A Deep Dive into IIT HYDERABAD

the SNCC(sports and cultural complex ) is very descent .
The infra of whole college including departmental building and hostels is very good which is based on the japanese collaboration
CONVENTION HALL is also very good and greenery of campus.

Dislikes

since the college is new generation iit so the culture of this college is not much developed and good
the mess food is not good except biryani.
and ofcourse the gender ratio of college is very bad which is nearly 1:5

Placement Experience:

The college provide decent placements, specially for circuital branches the placements are very good. The companies including google ,microsoft ,goldman sachs ,amazon etc are visited to our campus. the highest placements is nearly 90LPA and lowest package is nearly 6LPA. Nearly 75 to 80 percents of students get placed.

From classrooms to Cafeterias.

The infrastructure is very good with japnese collaboration buildings
Friendly faculties and subject matter experts.
The events and fests are very good and we have good DJ nights.

Dislikes

The gender ratio is very bad approximately 5:1.
The collage is very far from city. It is very difficult to go to city
Mess food is very bad except breakfast and biryani

Compared to the Old IIT's the placements of IIT Hyderabad is average. We have a highest package of 93 LPA and a minimum of 6.5 LPA but as compared to the new generation IIT's it has very decent placements. The percentage of students getting placed is approximately 73 %. After getting my degree I am planning to get a tech job in companies such as Microsoft, google, TCS.

Likes

The campus is very large and the infrastructure incorporates japanese architecture.
the sports complex is very well built and caters to all cultural activities
the boy to girl ratio is roughly 1:4 which is good for an iit

Dislikes

the campus is far from the main city and airport
the weather is quite extreme here. winters get very cold and summer is very hot
the campus is near industrial area so the air quality isn't too good

Placement Experience:

depending on the company even first years can be eligible. but the course only allowed for internship in third year and higher. the placements of biotechnology students is yet to be decided. the fourth years are the first batch ever all 8 of them got internships. after i get my BTech I'll pursue a doctorate

Life at IIT Hyderabad

Likes

Huge campus area of the Institute of 576 acres.
Many clubs like FCC, Prayas, etc. for students to join.
Huge number of opportunities ranging from being a Sports Player to a master in AI and Robotics.

Dislikes

The taste of the Mess food has degraded over time.
The Institute is located far from the city of Hyderabad.

The fractal academic system is a unique feature of IIT Hyderabad that sets it apart from other IITs. You have no choice but to work hard and excel in all subjects. There aren’t mids and ends in every sem instead you have monthly quizzes to evaluate you regularly.
There are many other strategies adopted to make the students work hard. For example, surprise quizzes in almost every subject are taken. These quizzes require the students to prepare before and after every class and also be regular to classes.
