You do not need to use the admit card for doing rough work as you will be given a scribble pad for that. You have to use that for rough work and return it before leaving the exam hall.
Can I register for the GATE counselling if I fill the wrong category in the admit card for GATE 2025?
You can register for GATE counselling even if you mistakenly put the wrong category in the admit card. In that case, you have to contact the concerned authority to let them know about it. You must put the right category while registering for the counselling.
What are the guidelines we should follow on the exam day?
Some guidelines set by the authority will be mentioned in the admit card and students must follow those. The guidelines are listed below for your reference.
- You should report to the examination centre at least 60 minutes before the exam starts.
- You will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the completion of the exam.
- No electronic devices such as mobile phones, watches, calculators or other things are allowed in the exam centre. You will be provided with a virtual scientific calculator for calculations.
