GATE 2025 Syllabus for Metallurgical Engineering consists of topics from two sections: General Aptitude with 15% weightage and Core Subjects with 85% weightage. IIT Roorkee will release the official syllabus of GATE 2025 Metallurgical Engineering shortly on the official website.

The core subjects of MT consist of seven divisions: Engineering Mathematics, Metallurgical Thermodynamics, Transport Phenomena, Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy, Physical Metallurgy, Mechanical Metallurgy, and Manufacturing Processes. The question paper includes 100 questions, of which approximately 85 are from the core syllabus of MT.

GATE 2025 is expected to be held between 1-9 February 2025, and registrations will begin in August 2024. Candidates can cover the entire syllabus of MT in a minimum of 6 months, but it is always advisable to start early.
