This year, NTA has removed Part A which includes the General Test section. CUET PG Syllabus 2024: Exam Pattern

NTA has introduced a few changes in the exam pattern of CUET PG 2024. Last year, applicants were allowed to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all. However, now candidates will be able to choose only four paper codes.The number of questions have been reduced from 100 to 75.

CUET PG Part A Syllabus

The General Test was considered to be as Part A in CUET PG eaxm until last year. This year, NTA removed the General Test part, but applicants can choose this as a Subject which will be in Hindi or English as chosen by the candidates during the registration.

CUET PG is an all India common entrance test. The entrance exam offers various course and allows a student to study in the top universities of India. Students aspiring for CUET PG 2024 can follow the tips given below

  • Before starting with CUET PG preparation, go through the CUET PG Exam Pattern 2024 and CUET PG Syllabus 2024. By going through the syllabus and exam pattern student will under the number of question, patttern of question followed by CUET and the marking scheme of CUET as well.
  • CUET PG syllabus is consist of general syllabus and the subject the candidate have choosen for exam. Therefore, candidates must keep notes for the subject they are appearing for. CUET PG Syllabus 2024 FAQs

Ques. What is CUET PG 2024?

Ans. CUET PG stands for Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programs. The CUET PG 2024 is an entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various postgraduate courses in Indian universities.

Ques. How many questions are there in CUET PG 2024 exam, and how are they divided?

Ans. CUET PG 2024 exam consists of 75 multiple-choice questions. The total marks allotted to each domain subject is 300. +4 marks will be provided for every correct answer and -1 marks for each oncorrect response.

Ques. Can I choose the medium of instruction for Part A of CUET PG 2024 exam?

Ans. NTA has removed CUET PG Part A. The Part A had General Test questions based on language, Mathematics and Reasoning. 

Ques. Are there any language-specific requirements for certain programs in the CUET PG 2024 exam?

Ans. Yes, for some programs like Shiksha Shastri and Shiksha Acharya, the entire 75-question CUET PG 2024 exam will be administered exclusively in Sanskrit. In addition, Part B of the question paper for Acharya courses will only be available in Sanskrit. Language-specific exams are applicable to certain courses.

Ques. What is the marking scheme for CUET PG 2024 exam?

Ans. Under CUET PG 2024 marking scheme, candidates receive +4 marks for each correct response, and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect response. Zero mark is given for unattempted questions.
