The NTA has released the CUET PG 2025 Result on May 6, 2025 on the official website. Candidates can download the scorecard on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG with their application number and date of birth. CUET PG Result is prepared based on the final answer key, released on May 6. The CUET PG scorecard will only be valid for the 2025-2026 session.

  • The CUET PG in 2025 was conducted for admission in 191 universities, providing more than 4.5 lakh PG seats in programs such as MA, MSc, MBA, MCA, etc. Top universities such as DU and BHU provide 13,000+ and 10,000+ seats individually.
  • The expected CUET PG 2025 cut-off for top courses can be between 240 to 270 marks, whereas moderate courses can expect cut-offs between 180 to 220 marks based on category and course demand.

More than 5.2 lakh candidates appeared for CUET PG 2025. The Exam was held in various shifts at 300+ cities, and NTA will apply normalization to determine percentiles in the CUET PG Result.

In CUET PG 2025, out of 654019 registered candidates, 523032 candidates actually appeared for the exam. CUET PG exam was conducted over 16 days and 43 socres.

What is the total marks in CUET PG 2025?

The CUET PG in 2025 consists of a total of 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each worth 4 marks, and the maximum score obtainable is 300 marks. The duration of the examination has been changed to 90 minutes, down from the earlier 105 minutes. The test is conducted in computer-based mode and is done both in English and Hindi languages.

CUET PG Normalization Process

CUET PG is conducted in 3 shifts with different levels of difficulty, the NTA uses a process of normalization to make it fair. The process normalizes raw scores according to the relative difficulty of each shift so that no candidate is put at a disadvantage because of the particular session they had attended.

CUET PG 2025 Normalization

The CUET PG 2025 is conducted in multiple shifts and different subject combinations, so the normalization process is used by NTA to ensure fairness and adjust the scores of candidates as the exam is held across different shifts. CUET PG 2025 Counselling

The CUET PG 2025 Counselling is conducted separately by each participating university. Candidates have to apply individually to each university that they want admission into. After downloading the CUET PG results and ScoreCard, candidates must visit the official website of each university they are willing to get admitted to and apply to check their Counselling schedule, eligibility criteria, course-wise cut-offs, and Application form. The official website for some top universities is as follows:

Candidates must then apply separately on the admission portal of each university. Fill out their course preference, academic details, and upload the required documents. The universities then release the CUET PG course-wise merit list based on the CUET PG normalized score, Category, and seat availability. Some Colleges have multiple rounds of merit lists.

If any candidate is selected, they receive a provisional offer letter, they can pay the admission fee, upload the documents, and confirm their seat in the university.
