- Academics is very nice. Proper scheduled classes is going on.
- Sports Facility is very nice. All the sports equipment are there including Gym
Dislikes
- Mess food is little bit below the mark. Hygiene is not maintained properly.
- Washing Machine facility is bad. Only 5 washing machine in each hostel of 14 floors.

My per semester fees is 130000 which ends up to 260000 per year including hostel. - We have huge campus to room around and to explore with good facilities of laboratories and for sports
- We have big playground different for both football and cricket with well trained coach where you can have an expert experience in your gameplay
Dislikes
- The best facilities in the hostels are a bit poor as the quality of the food and taste does not match the standards of a central recognised University
- The college is a bit far away from the main stream of Chennai
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tuition fee is a bit more and concentration with Central affiliated in university but to the facilities provided and the level of education provided it is ok also we have a great concession for the SC ST to students the fees is about 4800 for the tuition and hostel fees is same for all the students that is about 32 000 per semester the hostels are very well maintain you have a good washroom facilities you have well supporting watchmens and caretaker

- I like smart manufacturing labs and experienced faculty in my college
- I loved everything about my college and participated in every event

Hostel and mess in campus are fully hygienic. Tuition fee is based on category and hostel fee is common for every one. I am not eligible for any type of Scholarships, but some of my friends applies for it and they are happy with that.

- We had an amazing senior faculty with great projects and good connections with companies. They provide internships for students as well.
Dislikes
- Few restrictions to celebrate our fellow mates birthdays.
- Should review the food quality at hostel mess for students and menu too

Fee structure defers year to year and different fee structure for JEE candidate and DASA candidates. The average complete cost of education is around 4.5-5 lacs. There are scholarships provided from central government and few private companies. Students can get stipend that depends on projects.

- The curriculum is design oriented through which students are offered 6 courses one each in 6 semesters which helps in develop creative thinking in students.
- Institute supports all round development in students like sports, technical and cultural activities along with academics.
Dislikes
- Club culture can be improved. It is not developed yet completely.

The Tuition fees of this institute are low compared to other Indian Institute of Information Technology institutes. The annual fee is 120000. Students with very poor financial backgrounds will be given a chance to apply for Financial aid for those students.
Likes
- I liked how students are involved in technical activities.
- I liked how the faculties are very interactive which we don't find common in other institutes.
Dislikes
- There are not much things to dislike about the college but the communication gap between north indian students and south indian students
- Mess menu is not properly designed but it is improving day by day

For the current semester, the tuition fee for the 2023 batch is 73000/semester. Every semester the fee hikes by around 10%. Including the mess, hostel and tuition fee and considering the hikes the entire course might cost around 9,50,000 for 4 years. Also there are a lot of scholarships provided by central and state governments.

- I liked the infrastructure of our college.It is very good compared to most of the autonomous clgs
- Cultural events are way too good in the campus and they happen frequently
Dislikes
- The campus placements percentage is less and it needs to be more

The fee structure depends on reservations and it is somewhat less compared to many autonomous colleges,many scholarships are provided and placements (employment opportunities) are average and you can rely on your skills to get your placement and the package

- Campus is quite good. Laboratory complex is equipped with all kinds of labs required with good infrastructure. All the machinery is latest and works properly. Lab staff is friendly and learning environment in labs is great .
- Hostels are very good as compared to other government colleges. Nice infrastructure two boys hostel each of 14 floors and one girls hostel. Washing machines are available. 3 guest houses available for parents or family stay. Mess food is satisfactory
Dislikes
- Campus is a bit outside from city not so far but 30 minutes away.

The fee per semester is about 100000. Scholarships are available such as private scholarships or any state government scholarships on the basis of the academic performance of the student and financial condition.

- The infrastructure of the college is very good compared to other iiits.
- Seniors are kind of good mentors and guide us .
Dislikes
- College is little bit strict in case of hostel and college intimes
- There are less no of college fests and overall college life in terms of fun is little less.

The fee structure for B.tech ME course is around 1.47 lacs per year for IIITDM and INR 1.67 lacs per year for SASTRA university. Also, the average package for IIITDM is INR 10.02 lpa and that of latter is INR 7.5 lpa. Also, IIITDM is a public institute as compared to SASTRA University. Thus, as far it seems IIITDM is a better college.
In terms of academic credentials, a dual degree enhances it. It saves time(one year: 5 years for the dual degree, 6 years if you pursue it separately) as well as money. Also, if you want to pursue a career in the tech field after graduation, a master's degree gives you an edge. Also, generally, the dual degree has better pay prospects than the regular Btech students due to more specialized knowledge in that field.
