The campus of college is amazing as it is in forest area. There's good Greenery

Like in every college, here also mess food is not good
The pressure on new students, obviously not ragging but the students fear of seniors. It's necessary to control new students in new space but it was little bit more
Almost no jain food available in canteen.

The placement of college is good, average package was 19.27 LPA last year. Highest package was also good but students have to work hard for that because the offer provided by companies are less than number of students. If you not get in campus placement, out campus placement of this college is also good

Internship opportunities in the campus

There is different internship programs like Robotics & AI, Deep Learning & Its Application, Natural Language Processing and MATLAB Programming for Additive Manufacturing. In robotics and ai, students work on programming ai and make robot by that also by taking help of students of different courses and knowledge.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

Course curriculum is good also in first year computer science and engineering there are course like mechanics and electronics that is also important to know. Coursea like engineering graphics and innovation theory also included.

Yearly fees of the course with hostel fees

The yearly fee of IIITDMJ is 180500 including hostel fees but in 1st sem the fee is 105750 (because of addmission fee). As I'm 1st year student I don't know much but the fee is same as last year. This is for computer science and engineering course.

Various clubs and infrastructure of the campus

I'm not that socially active boy and you can say me "introvert". But the campus life is good for college students. There are many clubs like racing, photo shooting, singing, dancing, programming, cricket like gaming clubs etc. Infrastructure of college is good and new.

What are the facilities provided in the college hostel?

Hostel facilities are good. There is also seperate hostel for girls. Cleaning of rooms also done weekly and the lobby cleaning happens everyday. There is one bed, one chair and one table for every students and in one room, three students are there.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

The faculties are good in IIITDMJ. And they are good in their own subjects. And faculties also treat all students well and behaves well. Obviously strict with some bad students also. Faculties are approachable, you are free to ask them any questions regarding to their course. We have 2 quizzes, mid sem and endsem exams in one semester.

Admission process being in the campus

The placement of this college is good compared to the colleges I can get according to my JEE mains rank rather it is in campus or out of campus. Also the infrastructure of college is good. The campus size is also large and full with Greenery. The addmission process is not much difficult. I applied from jossa so it's not that complicated. We just have to reach college at time of physical reporting.

Night Life

As it is in forest side in night there is fear of wild animals around or in campus so the hostels close at 10 or 10:30. But in hostel you can do whatever you want as there is no sleep timing obviously.

One more thing that it is far away from the city so no pollution at all.
I liked the campus environment. The greenery of the campus .Also the teaching of some of thr faculty.
The placements are good here.The class rooms are also very nice.

Dislikes

There will be a lot of pressure on students.

Admission:

I mainly focussed on the placements.To get admission in this college you need to give jee mains and should earn a very good percentile. In my rank range this is the college that has a very good placements and also as i am looking for cse branch

The college has very friendly environment and ragging free campus , all the senior are very helpful and even professors are often delighted to talk with students about their skills and professional development.

Dislikes

The college is located in very remote location at least 10 km away from the Jabalpur city , making it difficult to travel .Literally the delivery cost of Zomato was often high than the price of food itself.
The college also suffer with limited campus infrastructure ,inconsistent internet services and less exposure to extracurricular activities compared to other institutes.

Admission:

This college was best at 56k rank jee mains also it has advantage of low fees over other colleges . I was also getting CSE in lower IIITS and civil in NITS still i choosed this college because of its extensive research and development fundings and a chance of learning new technologies .

Admission:

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff

The infrastructure of the college is very nice. The classrooms and all are very good.
Sports facilites are very good. Sports like cricket, badminton, football are present in the campus.
Teaching quality of faculties is very nice and all the labs are well equipped.

Dislikes

proper non veg food is not available inside the campus
The pressure of academics is very high in the college.
The location of college is very far from main city.

Admission:

During my JEE time I had not got very good ranks so according to my rank this college was best. my college has good sports, infrastructure and placements for that I opt for this college. the admission process is through JOSSA Counselling.

Since you did not mention your branch, I will draw a general comparison between IIIT Jabalpur and NIT Silchar that will help you choose one

IIIT Jabalpur offers UG courses under three branches only namely CSE, ECE, and Mechanical while NIT Silchar offers a number of courses in a variety of branches both at UG and PG level.
NIT Silchar is an old institute while IIIT Jabalpur is relatively new.
IIIT Jabalpur focuses solely on IT courses while NIT Silchar has many diverse courses.
NIT Silchar has no international collaborations while IIIT Jabalpur has collaborations with Universities of Japan that offer immense exposure and opportunities.
The placement scenario however is the same and in fact last year the highest package at both institutes hovered around INR 44 LPA.
Location-wise, Jabalpur gives an edge to NIT Silchar as it has better connectivity and places to explore.

B.Des aspirants must qualify for UCEED. Candidate must be 10+2 Passed from a recognized Board. Registrations are allowed only if the candidates fulfill the eligibility of completing high school, have not attempted the test more than twice and the date of birth is not before October 1, 1995.
