I liked the way lecturers utilize class hours to help students with their studies
faculty help us choose our career and provide projects to include in our resume

Dislikes

i really dont like the mess food then could really improve it
coming to hostel we dont have proper security like if we leave our door for 20 min anything ma miss from our room

Course Curriculum Overview :

When looking at a course curriculum, its important to see if its actually relevant to what we want to learn. I usually choose a course if it has things i'm interested in or if it offers something unique. also its great if it helps me get a good job. there are areas that could be better like some parts may be outdated or the teaching methods could be more engaging...

Class Size : 122Course Fees : INR 106000 per year

Placement Experience :

from 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements and internships mathworks, tata, cognigent, samsung, tcs etc and upto 50% of the students will get offers highest is 40 LPA and average is 12 LPA overall but i dont know exactly as i told before 50% are being placed i am trying to do mtech through gate

Fees and Financial Aid :

upto 10000 fee may increase every year complete cost may be around 200000/- there are many scholarships like dhayanandha scholarship but i cant avail that i am still in my 2nd year so i dont know about any campus placements yet

Campus Life :

March-Vashist (technical fest) july-Samgatha (cultural fest) freshers may sometimes held in feb but not compulsary all the necesssary books needed for academics are available in the library every year inter iiit sports meet is held and everyone is motivated to participate in any sport instagram will be active everytime

Hostel Facilities :

cupboards, table, chair and a balcony is provided mess food is just ok but they can still make it better coming to menu, there will be separate menu for even week and odd week registration will be done during academics registration only

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

Through JEE mains Through Josaa JEE mains difficulty level is high according to me some external coaching is necessary rather than regular colleges cut-off is around 30000 general rank online admission is better because it's confusing to enter the college with all these tensions

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering.
