The term exam was a very short time about two and a half months. If you are going to attend all lectures at your college and study daily for two to three hours per day then the exam papers are easy to solve and you can easily pass the exam

The course in electronics and telecommunications is hard. The Faculty here have less knowledge about the subjects they teach. faculty is aged and does not have proper teaching skills. All faculty here are complete B.tech, not any PhD.
Teachers of our college are qualified but not as much when it comes to teaching skills. Some faaculty member are very good in terms of helpfulness and teaching. The course curriculum is as per Mumbai University .
I choose the course of Electronics and telecommunications because I wanted to get an experience of hardware as well as software and the course does offer that. You get to learn about microprocessors as well as about the basics of coding languages. So, in the future, if you have to change your field, you need not start from scratch. The student-faculty ratio is 1:61. Most of the faculties are well qualified, they are M-Tech or PhDs, but there are some teachers who are freshers as well. The college follows a semester pattern, with 2 unit tests in each semester of 20 marks each. The passing percentage is 40. So if the exam is of 20 marks, the passing is 7. The semester exams are of 80 marks, with passing at 32 marks. It isn't that difficult to pass the exams if you are clear with the concepts and have understood them well. You can write the answers on your own, the teachers are considerate enough.
Tsec is always updated with each and every knowledge. It gives numerous number of opportunities to students considering their interests. It provides all the facilities for the students which ensures a smooth process throughout the day. Also arranges one industrial visit every year for the students and also provides internship opportunities to gain nice amount of work experience.
Tuition fees is actually a little expensive, for the first year it’s around 170k which is normal compared to other colleges under Mumbai University. That’s why students from not that well off backgrounds might not be able to afford the fees. But students can apply for tfws(tuition fee waiver scheme) provided by the government based on merit.
The fee structure is changing year by year. It's increase about 20 thousand per year. You can pay the fee by Fully or half for 6 months from check, NEFT, DD etc. The fee structure is different for cast and EBC
The fees structure is not very different from most colleges in Mumbai, following the same approximate fees and an annual pattern of payment for 4 years. the fees structure is feasible and the fees is not needed to be payed in one go for all 4 years.
The fee structure is quite expensive if we compare it with the facilities provided however the area around the college is one of the best. The atmosphere of the college also is not just study but includes balancing academics with other activities. And that is the best part of the college one will be willing to pay that amount of fees too.The exposure to the outer world you get here and he freedom is invaluable.
The fee structure was feasible as compared to the other colleges. For the second year I paid 55000 and for the next two years I paid 59000 each. The other colleges had donations as well as very high fee structure as compared to our college. My friends who were in other colleges paid around 70000 to 1lakh as fees.
Thadomal Shahani College of Engineering is a better option for EXTC Engineering. It offers better facilities and placements. Students of EXTC Engineering are recruited as Technical Engineers, Analyst Juniors, and Business Technology Analysts. According to Thadomal Shahani placements of recent years, EXTC students receive salary packages in the range of INR 4 LPA - 37 LPA.
