The course curriculum is set by the mumbai university which is a government body. All the subjects along the 8 semesters are evenly distributed with follow up subjects placed in order and various electives are given to choose from. The curriculum prepared is a bit of old technologies but constantly shown and mentioned new emerging ones. The real life applications are considered in the curriculum which is of great help

The course of Information Technology at Thadomal Shahni Engineering College seemed interesting to me because it consisted of various things that i wanted to try once, be it machine learning, AI, big data and many more topics. They are also very iseful for the real world applications
I chose IT as I was interested in this field. There are 1-2 professors for each subject and they are all very approachable. There are mentors as well who help you if you are facing any problems or difficulties they will guide you to tackle them. Most of the professors are Ph.D. some are pursuing Ph.D. as well. There are 2 term tests in each sem in which you have to get minimum marks after averaging or else you will get an internal kt.The difficulty depends on an individual and how he/she finds interest in the subject
The course curriculum is updated at regular intervals, so that the students get the thorough knowledge about their field of study. In this college, the teachers are very knowledgeable and qualified, And these teachers are very helpful and friendly in nature.
I was interested in the computer science field. So I took the information technology branch. The teaching faculty have a lot of experience in teaching and are very nice. The term exam is moderate to difficult to pass. Since Mumbai University is one of the worst university. The question paper is unpredictable since they give questions bank and ask the majority from outside. In one exam they give us a question bank of questions from the old syllabus and even asked them in the exam. So overall teaching faculty are very nice but the education system fails miserably.
I choose the course Information Technology because I was interested in problem solving and learning how to code. The faculty in this college is experienced and well versed with all the technical knowledge that is required. If a new subject is introduced which was introduced to our batch, the faculty did make it a point to provide the best of their knowledge by first learning it themselves and teaching it to us in the best way possible. The qualifications of most faculty in this college is Doctorate. Terms exams, orals were conducted time to time as per the guidelines provided by the Mumbai University and the paper correction was as it needed to be. The papers were discussed, what mistakes we should avoid and how should we improve was all explained very well. Even mentors were provided i.e. a faculty for 15 students to help them throughout the engineering journey
As I had computer science as an elective subject in my 12th std it aroused my interest in the IT field and I decided to take Information Technology as my major. Thadomal college has highly qualified professors with great knowledge and experience who give their constant support and guidance to their students this leads to a large number of placements in the college.
I chose Information Technology because I was interested in software development, faculty is supportive in every situation, Not all teachers are good at teaching, some are good and some are bad in teaching, every exam is conducted timely, Lab assistants are very bad.
I was interested in Computers and IT so I selected the course which I got according to my entrance exam marks. Thadomal Shahani Engineering College comes under Mumbai University so we follow the MU's syllabus. The course curriculum is extensive, covering most of the latest technological advancements. The faculty at Thadomal Shahani is highly qualified with amazing teaching methods. The term exams are held on time as per the MU timetable with a decent difficulty level. The internal tests are designed in such a way that they help the students to score well in the final end-semester exams.
