St. Francis Institute of Technology Admission 2024 is open based on CET entrance exams and CAP counselling. The CET Cell has started Maharashtra CAP counselling for various degree courses offered at St. Francis Institute of Technology. The latest updates are:
- MHT CET 2024 counselling registration has started for B.Tech courses at St. Francis Institute of Technology. The last date to register for counseling is July 24 (till 5 PM). Candidates can register online @cetcell.mahacet.org.
- CAP counselling registration for M.Tech courses is also open. The online counselling registration and document verification is open till July 17.

About SFIT
Established in the year 1999, St Francis Institute of Technology is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It aims at bridging the gap between the reality of graduate engineers and the industrial expectations. The institute is affiliated to University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE. St Francis Institute of Technology Scholarships
The following departments of the state government offer various scholarships to the students:
- Social Justice and Special Assistance Department : This department offers scholarship to the SC students whose annual family income is less than INR 2 lacs. The students have to submit the income certificate provided by Tahesildar.
- Tribal Development Department : This department offers scholarship to the ST students having annual family income less than INR 2.5 lacs. To claim the scholarship, students have to produce an income certificate provided by Tahesildar.
- Directorate of Technical Education : Under the “Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojna”, open or general category candidates are provided scholarships given that their annual family income is less than INR 8 lacs.
- VJ, NT, OBC and SBC Welfare Department : Students having annual family income less than or equal to INR 1 lac, can avail this scholarship by producing income certificate provided by Tahesildar.
- Minority Development Department : Candidates belonging to minority communities (Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Jain and Jews community) and having annual family income not more than INR 6 lacs, are eligible for this scholarship on producing an income certificate provided by Tahesildar.

- I am from Mechanical, and I can proudly say that the Mechanical H.O.D and all the teachers are the best.
- Internships are provided without any stipend, but they offer valuable learning opportunities as field experience enhances understanding of concepts.
Dislikes
- The college does not provide internships due to the structure of the Mumbai University syllabus, which does not allow for long internships.
- Certainly, the top engineering colleges are not correct. The management, driven by brothers from Church, is not open towards college improvement in terms of teaching, placements, and infrastructure. Therefore, only consider this college if you have no better options and are desperate to pursue engineering from anywhere.

The application forms can be found on the college website as well as the Mumbai University website. Students can apply for the merit list via cap rounds as well as reservations. The examinations structure was very simple with 2 unit tests practical exam and the end semester exam. The admission process can be made more transparent and widespread.

i am a diploma student so we have 3 cap rounds ehich where i was selected in first two three only. admission in st francis is very simple and you will have to scored only 50% for taking admission.

The admission process was quite better than the previous colleges of mine and the staff were good and guided at every moment the application forms are available in the staff room or office and it has reserved seats for casts I don't want to see any improvement hence it was a wonderful admission process.

To get eligible for this course we have to clear the HSC Maharashtra board with a minimum of 50 percent PCM subject and we have to give an entrance exam called mhtcet which application form can be obtained from mhtcet.org.in at an application fee of rs 850 no improvement is needed.

Eligibility is that in PCM we have to score atleast 50 %. And the college has a particular cutoff for different branches. No improvement needed.

I took the admission by marks of the entrance exam. I had given the Maharashtra MHTCET. I got 94.18 percentile in my exam. The cut-off of the Information technology branch was around 93-94 percentile and I got the TFWS Seat in IT Department with 94.18 percentile. The teachers of the college are very good and supportive.

I had also applied for Rizvi College (Civil) and Vartak College ( Mechanical ) but I chose SFIT because it has a better placement record. Also, it is known for its amazing faculty and lush green campus.

The admission process was the same as the other colleges i.e merits list system, but I didn't get admission on the basis of the merit list. I got admission in the institutional round in which we have to go to college and the remaining seats were offered to students. But you have to play half year fees on the same day in form of DD. At the institutional level, there are no marks criteria, mark criteria are valid only till the cap round. The admission process was easy they provide you with the college form and once you fill the form and pay the fees the admission was fixed. There was no counselling day but after admission, there was a meeting for parents and students with faculty members.

It's fast depending upon the mhtcet marks as well as the jee main marks. there is a quota for Christian students. The college provides is cards and confirms admission details within a day and the process is very smooth.
