as IIT Bhilai is a new IIT so the infrastructure is really advanced and beautiful and it comes with new and latest facilities
The mechanical domain of this college is really nice and the campus is equipped with very advanced experimental facilities

Dislikes

I think the exposure here is limited because it is a new gen iit but soon it will be sorted

Campus Life:

so the annual techno cultural fest of iit bhilai is Meraz and it is held in november -december and it is a great fest for both tech and cultural events we invite so many well known people for different sessions and so many celebs comes and perform for the cultural events. so there are a lot of books in the library basically it full fills the needs of the students. so as i mentioned that it is new gen iit so the tech used everywhere is latest. sports is still growing as the campus is taking shape in coming years it will be at peak

I liked the lack of population here which helps us learn more and participate more effectively
I liked Air conditioned hostels which were provided in this severe hot climate of bhilai.

Dislikes

Lack of sports culture in the campus due to studious students
Not alot but there's a bit of politics over here where the heads try to incubate their own people

Campus Life:

We have 2 college fests organised this year as Google dev fest which is technical fest and a techno-cultural fest named as MERAZ. We have a library building with a lot of books. All the lecture halls are modernized with air conditioning and projectors included. We have several sports tournament throughout the year .also we have cultural tournaments. And a variety of clubs organise a variety of sessions for the students to learn and explore different fields.

IIT Bhilai stands out for its forward thinking curriculum which is designed to foster innovation and interdisciplinary learning. The emphasis on project based learning and research from the early semesters is particularly commendable.
The campus life at IIT Bhilai is vibrant and engaging , the students here are known to everyone the bond between phd and tech students is precious.with numerous clubs and societies catering to a wide range of interests from robotics to music.

Dislikes

The institute couldnt attract top companies for campus placements which offers both core technical fields and diverse sectors
Can improve its campus infrastructure with more greenery

Campus Life:

My overall experience with campus life here has been vibrant and engaging students here have great bonds with each other irrespective of whether from juniors to PhD. Our annual techno-cultural fest Meraz is best of all however it is yet to bring huge celebrities. The library is well stocked and journals, and classrooms are equipped with modern technology. The campus offers various sports facilities and extracurricular activities, you can visit the Instagram pages of IIT Bhilai to see more

The fest MERAZ....which I would waiting all year.
Food add ons. I might say...we do have max all types of chicken recipes.

Dislikes

Basic food... without salt and masala...eating rotis everyday is kind of boring.
Visiting places...there were a very few here...we need to go long for some.

Campus Life:

We have various clubs here swara, , beathackers, epsilon, EBSB, neer passe, Goals ,Robotics which involve a lot of activities and participation in Inter IIT.We play sports like volleyball, basketball, badminton, TT, yoga, football, cricket,...We also have NSS which is the team of service. Glad to say that....our 300 seater classrooms resemble a theatre and we have the biggest Library. Our fest is MERAZ which we have for 3-4 days. MERAZ is generally conducted in winter.

Mess food is okay to eat except some days.

Campus is still getting build so that causes some problems

Campus Life:

Life at campus is very good as we are now shifted in permanent campus. Here Every year many Fests take place like Meraz is one of the biggest fest here. library is also the signature building here almost all the needed books we get here. There are many clubs here where students can join according to skills and choice

Reality in iit bhilai

The freedom is given by college that u can stay in hostel if u don't want to go to class.
you can get a serious preparation for your sport and u can represent as iit Bhilai student.

Dislikes

After night 11 we can't go outside and we can't get food within campus but they will allow swiggy and zomato upto their app services allowed.
Some sport courts are going on under construction.

Campus Life:

The campus is so good you can enjoy yourself a lot like there are so many fests and clubs and you can seriously prepare for your sport for inter-IIT competitions as well and basically, all clubs are run by students so we can enjoy ourselves a lot of clubs with a great knowledge also and clubs consists of robotic, bikes, artificial intelligence, photography, and so on.

Infrastructure are newly built and is top notch
Packages are decent enough as a 3rd gen iit , hope it gets increased

Dislikes

It is located in a rural type area and we did not have basic amenities like gym in like 5km
Weather is a bit hot and the sun can be scorching sometimes

Campus Life:

We have Chao ( annual fest ) which will held after mid-sem in October, The infrastructure is top notch as it is the newest built IIT, clubs are decent, social life and few amenities like a playing ground and other Indore games and television room are not yet set up so it is a little boring sometimes, but I hope being a IITian we will get all those things set up soon.

Dislikes

Location is very far from city which cause a lot of problems.
Construction work is going on which cause lot of problem.

Campus Life:

There are too many clubs inside the college like Epsilon, dsai, motor, dance and music club, Trisha, neer passe, etc clubs. Our college's most famous fest is miraz fest. Miraz Fest includes everything which includes fun. Our college has a big library in which there are too many books which include every type of book. Almost every sport has been played in our college. Inter iit in which best team from every iit go and tried there best for the win and our best team will go and perform well in inter iit.

The hostel Life is at another level here. Playing sports at night has now become a habit of every person here.
The clubs here provide a great opportunity to students to improve their personality.

Dislikes

The food quality sometimes degrade which is a little bit concerning.
The internet speed is not very much fast as the college is situated in outskirts of city.

Campus Life:

College life is very awesome here. The annual tech fest conducted is called Meraz which is conducted every year. There are also tech fests that are conducted. Books are available in the library as the library is very big. The classrooms are also well maintained as they are ventilated with ACs. Sports are also encouraged here. Various sports like football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc. are available to play. In extracurricular activities, various activities like singing, dancing, acting competitions, etc. are organized. There are also clubs to join in each field. The CoSA is run by students and responsible for the proper functioning of clubs.

The annual sports fest is known as Prayatna and it is held in the month of November. The annual fest is known as Meraz and it is held in October. There is also an event called Ciao for the freshers in this institute.
