About CCET
Established in 1998, Christian College of Engineering & Technology was an initiative by the erstwhile Bishop of Malankara Orthodox Church, Calcutta Diocese, Late Lamented Dr. Stephanos Mar Theodosius. CCET, Bhilai is the 3rd Oldest Private Engineering College in the state of Chhattisgarh and 2nd Oldest in the city of Bhilai. The institution offers 04 Undergraduate Bachelors of Technology (Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication) and 03 Post Graduate Master of Technology Programme (CAD-CAM/Robotics, Nano-Technology, High-Voltage). This college was among the top colleges of Bhilai, many students came from other states to pursue graduation here, the faculty was of high quality and so was the infrastructure. The number of students getting selected in campus interviews was very good Abe that inspired me to get admission here.

Admission was on the basis of cgpet and AIEEE exam score. I belong to Christian quota so I chose this college. I have heard that CSE branch has good faculties and I wanted to take CSE.

College is good in terms of infrastructure and facility like a hostel, Transportation, etc. There are good qualified lecturers who are always ready to help students. Admissions happened based on AIEEE rank and CGPET ranks. Remaining seats were filled by lateral entries. Reason to choose this college was based on it's name & my elder schoolmate's review.

Negative remark is job & placement , in our college big company are not coming for placement which are quiet bad for us but positive thing is that our facilities are continuously trying to call our company for placement purpose

College management changed a lot after we left so mine will be mostly outdated. College administration is good comes up with new engrossing techniques to restrict student or make them come in time. That used to be fun to break. Overall look for something better as it's a mediocre college if not roll up our sleeves and work hard.
