Placement Experience:

The only thing which is good about banasthali is their placement. The placement is good. Various companies come to the campus. And select students according to their priorities. I cam say the percentage of placement is 80% I'm not saying it about the whole banasthali. It's just about my department.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is okay. Not much high. The subject we study there have labs. So yes we can learn a little and accordingly fees is okay. We cab afford it. Abd yes there are some scholarships. But we have to take regular updates because no one will come and tell us. Due to their lack of management

The annual fee is 264000. If I tell you about the course fees this is like in lakhs per annum which is directly responsible for our foundation, student structure, and education we've been getting in. It makes people think about admission but the facilities they provide it's worth it.

Placement Experience:

Placements are better here. Placement coordinators are there to help students. Management is so helpful. There are more than 50 companies that come to campus and take students as per their criteria. There are exams, aptitude tests, and interviews lined up for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechatronics is a subject in which you can learn the components of electronics, mechanical, and computer science subjects so it is interesting who want to explore all three main courses as one. One can go into the robotics field after pursuing this degree because robotic technology is one of the real-world applications of this course and one can pursue their studies in foreign studies and can apply for placements. Teaching methods can be improved by hosting different seminars and webinars and by hosting industrial visits. The exams are held twice in a semester one is mid sem and another is end sem both are of equal marks the mid sem is easy as it has less syllabus and the questions are set by respective faculty but the level of end sem is quite hard as the cover the whole syllabus and the question paper are set by another faculty.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The course fees only include tution fees no other service fees are added. And during the course the fees increase per year by some amount. The total fee for this course is nearly 7.5 lacs. Scholarships were awarded by merit cum means but at present, this scheme has been removed by the Delhi govt. At present, they provide Delhi higher and Technical education support schemes which are eligible for only Delhi students who have min 75% marks in their 10+2 and subsequent years during the course. There is also another scheme for students from SC/ST and OBC backgrounds. There is a lack of campus employment opportunities.

Faculty are hard-working and mostly have Phd. Degree from IITs. Faculty to student ratio is good up to 1:40. We can easily contact them via WhatsApp or directly call them, they are supportive. Over all I can say they are above average.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As we know that IIITs are public-private institute so fees are high as compared to IITs and NITs. There is. Scholarship facilities for categories students provided by government. There is also loan facility for the students.

Campus Life:

Campus life in Manipal is the best in India. The technical Fest TechTatva is held around October and is one of the biggest tech fests of India. The cultural fest Revels and Utsav both hold the top spots when it comes to how good they are. The books and reference material provided in the library is of really good value and the overall content is great. The labs are well equipped with the latest equipments as per industry standards due to tie ups with the industry. The culture for extra curricular activities in Manipal is huge with a lot of respect from both the students and the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum gets updated every 2-4 years depending on the branch and every course is accredited. The curriculum is designed with inputs from researchers, industry personnel, and other key stakeholders hence the curriculum is very relevant. The curriculum could however focus more on showing where the topics are used in the real world at the start of the course rather than the end of the course The exams are well distributed throughout the semester giving students a chance to focus both on academics as well as their projects and personal life

Campus Life:

The annual techno-cultural fest of the college is Enyugma. It is typically held around November. The cultural and technical clubs are active with regular sessions. The sports facility for outdoor sports are adequate while for indoors we don't have a dedicated indoor sports facility yet. All the classrooms have AC and labs equipments are sufficient for the academics. The library has adequate books for the course. The new library is under construction and will be completed in 3-4 months. There is ewlfare society namely Unnati run by the students that provides digital knowledge to underprivileged children.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure for the entire course will be provided at the time of admission and it will be followed, there won't be any changes in that. There might be increment in hostel and mess fee. The total fee including hostel and mess is around 13 lakhs which is quite expensive considering its a central gov college. There are no scholarships or financial aid provided by the college for any category based on income or cast. Students can avail the various scholarships provided by the gov and private organisations and the college will help with it.

Placement Experience:

Our college ensures 100% campus placement and they really do it well. They bring good companies to the college. The companies usually offer an average package of 4 - 7 lakhs depending on the students knowledge towards the course. For last 3 years they brought Samsung to our campus, they took 4 students form my branch for a package of 10.5 lakhs for each student. After completing the degree I am looking forward for placements for a decent job in a reputed company.

Campus Life:

There are too many committees and clubs into our college, they include sports, different competitions relate to robotics, coding, electric racing cars, sports, performing arts, etc. They don't have a good hold in sports as I think the college don't pay the sports committees well to organise any tournaments, so to do any activities related to sports the participant has to pay entry fee i.e. even for the selection for a college level team.

Faculty:

Faculty members have a long teaching experience in Banasthali Vidhyapith and the the approachable any time. They are really helpful. They provide students with very useful tips and experience. What distinguishes the approach of professors is the use of effective teaching technologies that involves students in the process of acquiring knowledge. The syllabus and course materials are industry-aligned, with instructors using hybrid of practical and theoretical approaches. This is a way of setting them up well for work life in future. Additionally, the lecturers give comprehensive notes and extra references that come in handy mainly when preparing for exams. I have positive experience regarding the faculty, mentioning their dedication and the personal attention given to individual student needs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure depends on the course and program level. I am BTech student so my fee is approximately 4,36,0000 for 4 year course. There are many scholarships offered like Merit Scholarship, Merit-cum-Need Scholarship, Special Scholarship and government Scholarship. The college also provide student loans to students who needs it. The university offers limited campus employment opportunities such as teaching assistants etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As per my knowledge,IIT guwahiti is mentor of iiit bhagalpur so curriculum of IIT Guwahati and iiit bhagalpur is same . Classes are held 5 times a week ,around 3-4 classes daily. With 3 labs a week . After 2 months mod sem will occur of 30 marks. Ther will be quizes ,assignments in between. Before 4 days of End sem labs test are held. Which makes Hectic environment , faculty are ok ok. Out of 6 faculty only you can expect that 2 professor would teach you properly. In other 4. You will go for attendance only. 75% is mandatory. Course curriculum is good as per my knowledge. As it is iiit so. Burden is little bit on harder side but manageable. As college is being operating in bce college so condition is not good. All classes are held in a room called virtual classroom (physical). strength of classroom is 150 students. New academic building is ready with approx 75 students capacity. So there is possibility of getting much better education in upcoming months.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Every semester. Tution fees is around 1,20,000. You can expect +- 10,000 difference not more than that. Complete cost of education is 12,90,000. Including mess and hostel. . if anyone opts hostel then they must take mess. No scholarship would be provided from college side on the basis of caste and poverty. As it is iiit.

Ques. CSE (with AI & ML) in Manipal University Jaipur or Mechatronics / Mechanical in Thapar University? Which to choose?

● Top Answer By Aditi Banerjee on 22 Mar 23

Ans. Honestly speaking, both Thapar University and Manipal University are reputable institutions for a B.Tech in computer science. So the decision on which one is better for you ultimately depends on your personal preferences and priorities. is  Thapar University is a highly esteemed, private engineering and technology university located in Patiala, India. Known for its strong academic programs and rich research culture in computer science, this university has it all. Additionally, it offers a range of student services, including career counseling and internships. Manipal University, on the other hand, is a private university located in Manipal, India. It is one of the oldest and most established universities in the country and is known for its iRobot programs in CSE. The university has a number of student-driven bodies that promote extracurricular activities. Some factors to consider while choosing between the two include  Proximity to hometown campus life Fees and other expenses  CSE Program offered Both the colleges are almost similar in all aspects. So what actually matters is that if you live in the North, choose Thapar but if you are from the south choose Manipal. Both universities have the same fee and both are equally reputed private colleges after BITS. So I would suggest that whichever college is near your hometown go for it. Ultimately, both universities are highly esteemed institutions and either one would be a decent choice for a B.Tech in computer science.Read more

Ques. How good is a BTech in Mechatronics from Manipal University, Jaipur?

● Top Answer By Subham Roy on 21 Oct 20

Ans. Manipal University is ranked amongst the top engineering colleges in India. Mechatronics engineering is a highly favorable specialization in B.Tech at the university. The institute aims to provide highly research-intensive training and various live projects for a better understanding of the topics and making learning interesting for students. Admission: Candidates who qualify the minimum eligibility criteria, need to give the JEE Mains paper, and only if the cutoff published by the university which tends to be between 1300-4000 matches the marks of the candidate, the admission is provided to them. The total number of seats for which admission is taken in Mechatronics is just 70. The fees for the Mechatronics engineering course is almost 10 lacs for the whole four years including all sort of charges. The university provides scholarships on the basis of the student’s academic performance. Course curriculum: The course curriculum for Mechatronics is the fusion of practical lessons which take place either on the field or in labs and in-depth research-based theories. Many practice papers are also given to each of the students. Students get proper exposure to the field with the help of site visits, boot camps, research projects, etc. The curriculum is upgraded regularly. Faculty: The most favorable part of the mechatronics department's professors is that the majority of them have worked with some companies and have industry experience and connections. They help students also with pre-placement training. Infrastructure: The Mechatronics department has its own library which consists of all types of books related to the subject. The laboratories inside the department are equipped with modernized instruments to carry out research and academic works. Placement: If we talk about the previous year placement data, the placement rate was 89% and the top recruiters who gave bulk amounts of jobs to the students were Julphar, Coreel Technologies, T&A HR solutions, Valeo Engine, and electrical system Pvt Ltd. The Highest salary was around 48 lacs per annum. Mechatronics engineering at Manipal University is worth every single penny used in the study.
