Campus and College life is good at IIT Bhilai

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was a new course and only IIT Bhilai had this course it includes almost every field to study and that's i also wanted to study that's why. Faculty student ration is good it should be close to 50:1. Most faculties are Mtech and Phd graduated.

Class Size : 220Course Fees : INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Here Many internship opportunities are provided from diffrrent companies . Mostly stipend offered by companies ranges between 3k -15k And also some companies provide higher stipend. Mostly interships are skill based like webD and System designs.

Placement Experience :

Placements are 90% okay . After sem 7 students are eligible for placements before that all semesters should be completed without any F grade in compulsory courses. About 95% students got placed previous year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure taken is almost same like other IITs, Close to 1.5 Lakh per sem for General category students and campus also provides category based and economic condition based fee waiver . Also merit based scholarships are provided by college.

Campus Life :

Life at campus is very good as we are now shifted in permanent campus. Here Every year many Fests take place like Meraz is one of the biggest fest here. library is also the signature building here almost all the needed books we get here. There are many clubs here where students can join according to skills and choice

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are good, here all rooms are air conditioned also study lamp is provided for night study. Mess food is quite good . We need to pay for hostels every semester during academic registration.

Hostel Fee : INR 96000 per year

Admission :

For getting into college i had to give jee entrance exam that includes mains and advance after qualifying both i got the college. Application form can be found on jee advance website and NTA jee main website.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement for the students have started in the 3rd year which means in the 6th semester. Various companies have visited the campus such as Cognizant, TCS, Stratview Research, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and so on. Admission:

For taking admission in the institute, I had applied through the csvtu website after completing my intermediate. There was an entrance test taken by the university in which there MCQ questions based on the intermediate syllabus.
