The faculty are very approachable and friendly and extremely professional. They arrange private meetings for any student in need and we are always welcome to go and talk to them in their cabins. Professor Vamsi and professor Yogeeswari are amazing at what they teach and make the classes very interactive and fun.

The faculty to student ratio is quite good and most of the profs are readily approachable. However the teaching quality is not very good. From the p.o.v of research there are some profs like Rajesh Kumar Tripathi who are very good and have a nice a H index as well. Coming to the evaluatives part, most of the course have a structure where Mids have about 30 percent weightage End Sem has 40 percent weightage. There are Quizzes (generally best 2 of 3) spread through out the sem which have about 20 percent weightage and the remaining is for projects/labs.

I do I do not exactly know the faculty student ratio, but we have enough faculties to cater all the students we have in the campus. We also we also get to have the recordings of the classes by the classes.

The faculty is very approachable, we have separate office hours where we can talk to them about the course or any questions we have in general. The exam pattern includes exit tests for attendance, quizes, mid semester exams and comprehensive exams

I am not sure about the exact faculty to students ratio but all the faculty are ready to help you whenever you need them to. They also provide project opportunities under them. I like Prabhakaran sir and Prashant sir because they genuinely seem interested to teach their courses. I do not like Subhodeep sir as his classes are fairly boring. The exams are VERY TOUGH. If the total mark is 100 then the average would go around 20. Relative grading makes up for it tho.

We have quizes, assignments /projects, 1 Mid sem and 1 Compre Exam in a semester. The weightage of evaluative conponents is decided by the instructor in charge for the course. All grading is given relative to the course topper. There is no absolute grading. Most of the faculty members are very friendly and approachable at any time.

It's hard to give a very accurate number for the faculty-student ratio. Since we can make our timetables and take the courses we want it's not a specific number but at the max you'll find 200 students in the classroom and due to zero percent attendance that number will reach 20-30 after a month:). Our finance department is widely regarded as the best in Telangana, so if you're up for a finance minor you can do so. Some professors are not great at teaching but excel in their research domain. Here at BITS we have relative grading, everyone is smart so it's difficult to get a high CG. Papers are tough and not standard at all. Companies know this, a 7 CG here is equivalent to 8.5 CG at VIT.
