GITAM Hyderabad, officially known as Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management University Hyderabad, was established in the year 2009 as a part of the GITAM University network. It is one of the 3 campuses of GITAM, it is accredited by NAAC with an ‘A++’ grade. It is ranked 38 in India in the Journalism category according to the IIRF 2025 rankings. It offers admission to UG, PG, and PhD programs in different specializations.
GITAM conducts its own entrance test known as GAT or GITAM Admission Test. It offers B.Tech. CSE as its flagship program and the total B.Tech CSE 2025 fee is INR 16.47 lakhs. The eligibility criteria are that the candidate must have qualified 10+2 with at least 60% marks from a recognized board with PCM. Academic structure and curriculum in the campus
I have choosed this course for my intrest only. The curriculum given by university is quite good. They teach all the main basics of the course required for the job or higher studies. They use the labs but they don't prepare us for the real time. That we need to prepare ourselves and the faculty are ready to help for that. I suggest to give more importance for practical knowledge and using of the basices we learned at the right area
The exams are conducted at middle of the semester and and at the end of the semester. There are quiz exams after every unit is finished
Various events, clubs and library of the college
Main event are Freshers, Farewell, Pramana
Other event are Onam, Dandiya, Vigniharin, NSS and NCC days, Kuchipudi day. These are non technical events and technical event are held almost every month
Many books are available at the library and we have access to a website KRC in which softcopies of books are found if not present at library.
Sports and ectra curricula activities are many. Interest students can grab the opertunity
Clubs are run by students and under the supervision of faculty
Faculty and examination pattern of the college
Faculties are many and are sufficient for the students. The faculty are approachble and the relationship between student and faculty is very good
There are many good faculties it is difficult to list them
There are some faculties who are just over and not approachable
There is one mid and one sem exam for a semester. Exams are medium level difficulty. Many students faill due to there negligence but not of difficulty level. It is quite easy to pass the exams. Questions are given based on the subject thought only no out of syllabus questions are given.
What are facilities available in the college hostel?
Room is having a bed, table,chair for every student. 3 sharing and 4 sharing are available. Ac and non ac are there. Common washrooms for ecery floor.
Many varieties are kept in the menu and only some are good

I have applied to LPU, Amrita, KLU, VIT and Satyamaba. All the universities are at long distances from my hometown so my parents not allowed it

well tried few eamcet collages and also collages through mains but not got confirmed since i got scholarship in gitam and everything else is good i chose gitam over other collages . isnt like rejections but many collages demands more money without any scholarship. in gitam we get admission if you pass +1 and +2 but if you need scholarship we can write exam or join through eamcet or mains score

Simple admission process that just requires 60percent inter marks so that they can attempt gitam entrance conducted by college every moth from Jan to july the student must qualify gitam entrance test or student is merit from jee exams can directly join the college scholarships will be provided according to their percentages. Theplacements, facilities compared to other colleges these are great here in this budget so I choose this college over others

The main reason for me choosing this college is for the environment here and the facilities they provide are the best for me. You can get into this college by writing GAT or JEE. The cutoffs are not so much but you can easily get a seat here

This college had good reviews. I didnt score great in my other entrance examinations . Other private colleges were my only option but i found this college. They had everything i needed . Good facutly , great infrastructure and great food . Even the college life is great here . All the other colleges were a bit too expensive and far from us . This seemed to be the right option.
