BITS Law School Campus Facilities 

The green and expansive campus of BITS Law School is situated in Hiranandani Knowledge Park of Powai - Mumbai on 55,000 square feet of land and has a very positive, collaborative and supportive environment for everyone. In addition to this, unique teaching methodologies have been adopted by the college to impart education and mentorship sessions are organized too from time to time to transform students into expert law professionals who have the caliber and awareness to create an impact on both national and global level. 

Lastly, as Mumbai is a hub of many kinds of industries ranging from film and television, banking and finance, media and communication to corporate and manufacturing, so students have only opportunities to explore and grow. Following are the details of facilities which BITS has developed over time for students and teachers.

Smart Classrooms: BITS has developed very spacious, technology enabled and well-ventilated classrooms for all its students. Also all the lecture halls are well-equipped with a conducive teaching-learning ambiance and facilities like projector, audio-video system and internet connectivity so that lectures can be delivered by teachers and expert professionals in the most efficient and reliable way. And the best benefit for college here is students not only understand the concepts in a better way but also participate enthusiastically in class discussions.

Sports and Gym: For the purpose of keeping it's students physically fit and mentally healthy so that they can develop essential skills to develop in the dynamic world of law and business, the institution has established sufficient facilities for them to enjoy a diverse kind of indoor and outdoor sports activities and games like Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Carom, Chess and Basketball. Then there is a separate full-fledged gym area with latest and high-quality equipment where students can do different kinds of exercises.

Canteen: A big, aesthetically developed and amazing canteen also exists on campus and the sole purpose of college here is to provide delicious, fresh and a wide variety of snacks, lunch and dinner meals to both students and staff members at an affordable price. 

Also, all the food items are prepared in strict supervision of college staff and students visit this place not only to enjoy their food but to chit chat with their peers and rejuvenate themselves.

Hostels: For the purpose of giving a home-like comfortable, safe and conducive living environment to those students who join the college from another state or city to pursue their dream courses, the institution has developed separate state-of-the-art accommodation facilities for both girls and boys. 

And all kinds of basic to advanced facilities such as fully furnished, air-conditioned, and shared apartment, individual study table, chair, and whiteboard, hi-speed wifi, shared microwave and fridge followed by dining space for breakfast, lunch and dinner is available here. Computer Center: There is also a modern and commodious Computer Center in college and it has been set up to make students digitally proficient, because both law and business domains require knowledge of latest technologies from aspiring students. 

Also, this space is well-resourced with current gen computer systems and required softwares is installed on each. And all systems are connected through high-speed internet connectivity and both students and their teachers use this lab to do online research and make best use of online learning platforms.

Auditorium: BITS Law School regularly conduct events like seminars, webinars, conferences., skill development training programs and expert sessions in collaboration with leading corporate professionals to bridge the gaps between academia and industrial world and facilitate direct interaction between students, Alumni, Practicing Lawyers, Judges and Professors of various institutions. And to conduct everything seamlessly, an air-conditioned, fully-furnished Auditorium with enough seating capacity has been developed by the BITS. This auditorium is also less with LED projector, public address system and audio-video devices etc.

Library: With the aim to offer excellent learning resources to students and staff members to enhance their knowledge and help them in their research and project work, BITS has set up a vast Library. And this space is actually a home of close to 5500+ print resources including Textbooks, Reference Books, Law Reports, Journals & Reviews, Magazines, Case Studies Papers and Newspapers etc. Special support is also provided to individuals for personal research and college people can even access the content of lIbrary 24*7 through digital mode. 

Apart from this, separate reading space is there in the Library along with other amenities like desktops, Wi-Fi connectivity and ultra-modern RFID system. Library Resource Center collection and resources also includes LexisNexis, aironline.in, JSTOR, manupatra, SCC Online, Heinonline, Harvard Business Publishing Education, Economic and Political Weekly, Westlaw Asia, pressreader, LiveLaw.in and Bar and Bench Indian Legal News.

Moot Court: Just like every other course, Law also demands practical knowledge and exposure from those who wish to make a thriving career in it, hence Mumbai based BITS Law School has established a avant-garde Moot Court on its campus which is nothing but a simulation environment of actual court or arbitration proceeding in an adversarial system comprising a judge or a panel of judges, opposing parties, litigators, and the common public. 

Here students with the support of their professors, learn how to present arguments, do research, draft case, negotiate or debate in the real world for different kinds of cases involving criminal law, environmental law, human rights law, competition law, intellectual property law, contract law, mergers & acquisitions, bankruptcy & insolvency, international trade law, and much more. Along with this, mooting helps students develop confidence, essential communication skills, strengthen research abilities, and enhance the employability prospects.

Clinical Legal Education: BITS has adopted unique educational initiatives and has a dedicated Law Clinics because the institution has assumed the collective responsibility of being a problem solver and a prominent figure in the field of law. Here students are prepared to use the law to support communities and empower citizens that may need it the most. Apart from this, they are regularly involved in real-time project work to develop a solution-oriented mindset.
