Course Curriculum Overview :

The 0% attendance policy gives flexibility to student to focus on other activities as well other than academics and helps them become better individuals as a whole. The curriculum is updated frequently and is industry oriented developed by experts. We have quizes once in almost 2 months and in between midsems and compre exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearwise fees is approximately 700000, including mess ,hostel and tuition. Fees can be drastically reduced by scholarships provided by college. Banks loans are available aswell to help economically weaker students.

Campus Life :

WE have ATMOS , Pearl , Fervour as the major fests . We have Atmos in winters and Pearl in Summer months. Books and journals are easily accesible in the library inside campus. All lectures are recorded and we can refer to them anytime later. Sports facilities are very well maintined and regulary in use by students. There are many clubs and groups to support students throughout their college life.

Admission :

I got confirmed seat in NIT GOA CSE BTECH as well. I chose BITS HYD CS due to better brand name and better coding culture compared to the choices i had at the time. Admission is based on scores of BITSAT exam only. There is special entry for Board toppers of respective boards aswell.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is approximately 20. The faculty is very friendly and approachable. I didnt interact personally with many faculty but whomever i interacted with were friendly in their approach. we have midesems and compres are major exams and quizes i between them . They are easy and doable.

Night Life :

There is a big gym in campus. Library is well maintained and quiet as well. Hostels do not have intime , freshers have intime upto a few months in. For hangout we have to go inside Hyderabad and there are many fun places there . The campus if safe to roam around at any time .

Other Applied Colleges

National Institute of Technology - [NIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Better package in current college, coding culture and college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is rated as average . Because the relevance and comprehensiveness is not upto the level of students midset (like most of them). the curriculum and the speed of covering syllabus very fast which is not understandable for most of the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chosen computer science and engineering as my course. I enjoy coding and learning. This course gives the challenge to apply our ideas on real world applications. I choose skills over the marks because scoring only marks doesn't give a good placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content provides sufficient exposure to required knowledge in the field though it is advisable to seek additional resources outside the course for better understanding. Coursework is not too hard and can be managed by the student.

Placement Experience:

Here, students can try for internships in the 3rd year. Some students who want to pursue higher education like MTech or MBA or PhD don't go for placements and internships. The placement rounds happen in the 4th year where many companies come to the campus, exams and interviews are conducted to shortlist students. For example, in my branch of civil engineering, the placement percentage last year was 50%, with the average package being around 14 lacs. Many companies come to the campus and the highest package last year was 90 lacs which was for a quant role. There are mostly companies coming for SDE and AI/ML roles. The number of companies coming for Consulting or product management roles is quite declining over the years. My plan is to try for placement in some Tech company, and work for some years then pursue a MBA.
