Likes
- The labs stole my heart i was always amazed of the phyics lab and chem lab and after ding some experiments i was very happy
- Infrastructure is best as we have organised campus with food eateries and canteens .
Dislikes
- Getting no leaves for preparation between exams is the worst thing happening here
- The teaching is very bad by some of the research oriented professors.

- Being a vegetarian, it's not good here to serve in the same mess both veg and non veg.
- Since Having exams are quite frequent, the friend circle you have may distress sometimes if you juggled somewhere.
Placement Experience:
The placement scenario is good in IIT Kharagpur . Students are eligible to sit in placements in their 4th year. Placements are conducted in two phases . First phase is before the start of 8th semester and the second phase is after the end. A very large number of companies visit campus every year to ensure selection of quality employees for their corporate. The placement percentage of this year is 86%. The Highest package is 2.68 crores per annum while the average is 13 lpa. For companies apple,Airbus, Microsoft, Google, capital one, Accenture,rubrik, Amazon etc. is an attractive spot. Technical and software compo having their dominance in the college placements this year despite of economic recession. My plans are to achieve placements from here.
Likes
- The campus life and the peer group and the way it ignites the competitive spirit all the time
- The Annual fests of the college where we are able to witness big stars , new innovations and get entangled in joy
Dislikes
- The crowd sometimes annoys me as in canteens and hotels there are huge number of seats occupied all the time
- Lack of modernisation outside the campus as most of the area is rural
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester . Companies like Google, Microsoft have visited in the past years and have offered roles in various domains such as SDE, Data, SWE .The highest package in domestic goes around 70LPA wheraes the average goes around 15-16 LPA .According to a recent data , it shows that that 87 percent of students are placed whereas others go for higher education . My plans are mostly to target a specific domain such as data and land up a job in a firm
